You Can't Make This Stuff Up

Our "President:

"To Iranian President Rouhani: NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE. WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH."
Consequences the likes of which few throughout history have ever suffered before...We are no longer a country that will stand for demented words of violence & death.
Will there ever be a point where Republicans decided that enough is enough?
Just wondering, by the way...I hear all sorts of speculation about what spectacular acts of terrorism the Iranians will now commit, as if they think just like Trump.  Seems to me that they can pretty easily contrive to block the Persian Gulf to all shipping traffic, creating an oil crisis like we have never seen before.  Let's see then how many countries around the world side with the United States.  Of course, that may actually be Trump's intention; a gigantic gift to his master Vladimir Putin, and the ultimate act of destruction of our national security.

Sounds like something Kim Jong Un would say. Just substitute North Korea in place of the US.

What blew me away is that he railed against demented words of violence and death, when he uttered them himself in the previous sentence.

Hamas

  Of ocurse I am going to take the opportunity to talk about the Hamas attack on Israel.   First, I'd like to talk about my background, or baggage, regarding the country.   I have lived in Israel, some years ago.   This was not for religious reasons; I spent several months there working on a movie.   During pre-production, weeks of location scouting and shooting the movie, I was all over the country, and spent a fair amount of time in the West Bank, where we also shot.   This included a lot of places that normal tourists would not see, including predominantly Arab areas such as East Jerusalem, the Arab quarter of the old city, Ramla and the southern part of Jaffa, which is predominantly Arab.   It also included heavily Orthodox areas like Mea Shearim.   I dealt with Israeli Arabs, Palestinians and Bedouins.     Here are a few things I believe I learned there:   First of all, the Palestinians I knew were perfectly normal people with the same interest in living a safe, secure
