These things just never stop: "Eight-term Indiana Rep. Mark Souder announced his resignation Tuesday after admitting to an affair with a female aide who worked in his district office. Souder, a Republican, will will step down on Friday. He said in remarks obtained by Fox News that he "sinned against God, my wife and my family by having a mutual relationship with a part-time member of my staff." Not familiar with this guy? Souder, according to Fox News, was "Elected as a family values conservative as part of the Republican revolution in 1994..." He has been described as the leading proponent in Congress of abstinence education.

The Army announced its decision yesterday only hours after the Justice Department said it will pursue a lawsuit accusing the Houston-based company of taking kickbacks from two subcontractors on Iraq-related work. " The decay that Bush and Cheney spread through our government continues. Those who follow the economy know that it is currently undergoing a rebound that is far beyond anyone's expectations.
