Your intrepid and fearless foreign correspondent, Green Eagle, despising danger, has once more ventured forth to the distant Land of the Patriots, to observe their great religious ritual, the Tealess Tea Party. For yes, no tea of any kind was to be seen at these tea parties. Well, whatever, here is his report. Green Eagle attended two tea parties today, one in Pasadena and one in Woodland Hills CA. Sadly, he must report that, like so many great cultural traditions, tea partying rather seems to be on the wane. The Woodland Hills spectacle attracted about 220 or 240 people; the Pasadena one less than 100. Green Eagle, who attended three of the last great wave of tea parties, is forced by his elevated journalistic standards to confess that this is far less that he saw at that time.
