Friday Sex Crimes Report

I've already commented below about the self-authored confession by Joel Greenberg that he and Matt Gaetz did pay an underage girl for sex.  That's hardly the only Republican sex crime we heard about today: Remember Josh Duggar, scion of one of Evangelical Christianity's most sainted family, who was caught a couple of years ago molesting his young sisters, and ended up paying zero legal penalties for that act?  Well, today, Duggar was arrested for possession of child pornography, apparently containing photos of sexual acts perpetrated on girls who were "younger than twelve."  This time, no bail, according to the Judge, and hopefully this bastard will never see the sun outside of a prison ever again. And then there is the case of Idaho State  Rep. Aaron von Ehlinger, who resigned from his position today just a few steps ahead of a posse of his colleagues who were about to boot him out.  Ehrlinger, 38, apparently lured a 19 year old legislative employee to his apart

Scientific Proof- You Can Fuck Yourself

Image
From the Washington Post today, although I am sure you have heard the story: "The controversy surrounding embattled Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) took a wild new turn Thursday night, with the Daily Beast reporting that his ally wrote a confession letter implicating both of them in having sex with a 17-year old girl. And perhaps not hugely surprising, Roger Stone is suddenly involved. The Daily Beast obtained alleged drafts of the confession letter that Joel Greenberg wrote and text messages between him and Stone indicating it was part of a plan to obtain a pardon for Greenberg from President Donald Trump. Greenberg and Stone also reportedly discussed Greenberg paying Stone $250,000, apparently if the pardon effort was successful (which it was not)." If there is one thing I learned from watching Cops years ago, it is that criminals are really stupid, but can they possibly be this stupid?  This idiot Greenberg wrote a confession, in his own handwriting, just to make it undeniable

"Liveblog-" of Hillary Clinton's "Guantanamo Treason Trial" Day 5

Image
Yes sir, here is the "liveblog" of the last day of the Guantanamo Bay military treason trial of Hillary Clinton, for a whole host of charges that you have undoubtedly heard all too many times already. When we left, the first day was just concluding when Hillary dropped to the floor and seemed to experience some sort of epileptic fit, after which she was dragged back to her cell, which she proceded to smear with her own poop.  Certainly sounds like Hillary, huh? Well, the next few days seem to have been quite boring, so I will cut to the coverage of the last day of the trial.  Here we go: Clinton Military Tribunal: Day 5 CONVICTION! What a surprise verdict!  A military tribunal on Thursday convicted former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder, accessory to murder, child trafficking, endangering a minor, treason, and sedition. What, that's all?  What about the e-mails and Benghazi?  The two male, one female panel of officers

The True Price of Pandering to Lunatics Like QAnon

Image
I don't know that I have ever done this, but I am going to simply reprint an entire post by Lincoln Green at Daily Kos, because I believe the issue is so important and I couldn't put it any better than he did.  Lincoln, please forgive me for the theft. "QAnon promoters helped kill those three little children In “Mother unraveled in depression, QAnon-style conspiracies in months before she killed 3 kids”, Matt Hamilton and Richard Winton today reported in the LA Times the horrifying story of how Liliana Carrillo came to kill her children Joanna, 3; Terry, 2; and Sierra, 6 months. Carrillo was already having trouble with postpartum depression, anger, and childhood trauma. She was treated for depression but quit therapy and refused to take her meds. What put her over the edge was QAnon. Carrillo was convinced that a child sex-trafficking ring was active in her Porterville neighborhood. In her madness she eventually accused her boyfriend of sexually abusing their three-year-

Two things too idiotic to even cover today:  The Republican war on baseball, and the synthetic furor over "vaccine passports."  Okay?  Then on we go.  And never forget how many Republicans are willing to believe, or claim to believe, anything, as long as it is a pile of bullying lies directed at their opponents.  From Daily Kos: " A new poll shows that over half of Republican voters believe Republican false claims that the election was "stolen" from Trump, and almost that many falsely believe the attempted insurrection at the U.S. Capitol in January either was "peaceful" or that secret leftists staged it to make Dear Leader look bad." No sucker like a Republican sucker.  "Situation Update, April 5th, 2021 - Nazi-Style Covid Death Camps Coming to Every Democrat-Controlled City!" Nazi style death camps.  You'd think that would make them very popular among Republicans. "If Î’iden Is Fully Ιn Control, Why Ιs Τrump Now Saying Ηe Wil

Nothing to See Here...Except Treason and Four Years of Lies

But it's just another boring news day if a Republican does it- nothing to get excited about. From Yesterday's Washington Post: "The government finally connects the line from Trump’s campaign to Russian intelligence So much for the ‘Russia hoax’ hoax... (Constantine) Kilimnik, who was indicted by Mueller’s team, sat at the center of one of the more obvious places where the campaign of then-candidate Donald Trump might have intersected with Russia’s efforts to get Trump elected. Kilimnik had worked with Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort for years before Manafort joined the campaign effort despite (or perhaps because of) his sketchy connections to Russia. One of Manafort’s primary clients in the years before his volunteering to work for Trump without pay was a pro-Russian political party in Ukraine. Their mutual colleague Rick Gates told various people that he believed Kilimnik was a “spy,” according to Mueller’s report, but that didn’t keep the three from sharing infor

Republicans Attack Baseball

" On Tuesday, Sens. Mike Lee of Utah, Ted Cruz of Texas, and Josh Hawley of Missouri announced an effort to punish MLB by removing its antitrust shield. Lee said the legal exemption had been created from "whole cloth" by the Supreme Court nearly 100 years ago. Cruz...criticized "woke corporations" for becoming a "political enforcer for Democrats" in Washington." Mom and apple pie, you two had better keep in line and watch what you say, because you are next on the list. Can a party that has veered this far into actual derangement hope to find a base large enough to keep them in existence?  Particularly if they lose any significant amount of the corporate money which has kept them competitive for decades.   I suspect that the Republicans' "logic" goes something like this:  Major league baseball teams of necessity only exist in large cities.  Large cities are full of Democrats.  So we'll punish those Democratic voters by taking aw

It Has To Be True...

I read it on the internet! We've gotten used to seeing liveblogging of important events, say a hearing for a new Supreme Court justice or a Congressional vote on a major issue.  Of course, nothing on earth is too straightforward that wingnuts can't find a way to abuse it for their own purposes.   What follows are excerpts from a purported liveblog entitled "Clinton Military Tribunal: Day 1."  Get ready to enter the twilight zone: "A military tribunal on Thursday morning convened at Guantanamo Bay to decide whether Hillary Rodham Clinton will be exonerated of charges including treason, conspiring with the enemy, destruction of government property, money laundering and conspiracy to commit murder, or if she will ultimately stand before a gallows or a firing squad. Three U.S. military officers—two males and one female, serving as both judge and jury—listened for two hours as Vice Adm. John G. Hannink of the U.S. Navy’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps listed eighteen

Green Eagle's Bookie Shop

Is now open for business.   The first thing we're taking bets on is, considering what has been happening on the other side of the aisle lately, and the inevitability that whatever they are doing they project on Democrats, who will be the first Republican to be revealed to have taken adrenochrome?  Brother Newt?  Clarence and Ginny Thomas?  Moscow Mitch?  The race is on.

Trump's Return to the White House Finalized!

Image
And no, it wasn't January 20th, or March 4th, and it won't be April 15th or April 30th either.  We now have authoritative news that Trump has picked a far more significant day to be sworn in as President, to show what a patriot he is and how much he loves America: And this absolutely trustworthy article has so much more to tell about Trump's return: "At his Mar-a-Lago command center, Trump and his councilors have been working tirelessly to solve and almost unsolvable jigsaw puzzle—digging up the names of all elected or appointed officials who dishonored their oath of office to America and its people...“Trump and his guys have been hunkered down at Mar-a-Lago figuring this mess out. They’re going after more than people like Pelosi, AOC, and Adam Schiff. He’s taking out their staff too, and if their staff has staff, well they might go down too. This is total purge." Since when has Trump ever worked tirelessly at anything except thieving money and abusing women?  An

Let's just start with the right wingers' jackass lies about Biden's press conference, where he acted like an informed, rational human being instead of an out of control bully with no knowledge of the issues.  And please remember that a hundred times as many Republicans will read these comments as will have seen a second of the press conference: Tim Graham, Town Hall:  "The Pro-Biden Press Corps Is Deeply Embarrassing" The press corps that didn't ask him a single question about his incredible success in handling the vaccination program, while playing the Republicans' stooges over the nonexistent border "crisis." Matt Vespa, Town Hall:  "Are We Just Going to Let Biden's Massive Brain Malfunction During His First Presser Slip Under the Radar?...President Joe Biden had his first press conference—and it will probably be his last for quite a while. If it wasn’t scripted, it would have been an unmitigated disaster. it was bad, but trainwreck t
