Kathryn Kimball Mizelle- Just for the Record

 You are all probably aware by now of the horrible decision about Covid regulations by Kathryn Kimball Mizelle, a 34 year old "Judge" for life, who the Republicans saw fit to foist on the country.  To be brief, the almost without experience Mizelle graduated from a worthless Christian college, and was rated "not qualified" by the ABA.  She is of course a member of the Federalist society, which is responsible in large part for her being on the court to begin with.  


Just for the record, I thought people would like to know the Senate vote that put her on the court:  The vote was 49 to 41.  Every single vote to saddle our country for decades with this incompetent, corrupt judge was cast by a Republican; every no vote was cast by a Democrat.  


Keep this in mind the next time you hear some Republican screeching on about Democrats trying to politicize the courts.  At some point, we have to deal with a way to remove these excrescences from our judicial system.

Hamas

  Of ocurse I am going to take the opportunity to talk about the Hamas attack on Israel.   First, I'd like to talk about my background, or baggage, regarding the country.   I have lived in Israel, some years ago.   This was not for religious reasons; I spent several months there working on a movie.   During pre-production, weeks of location scouting and shooting the movie, I was all over the country, and spent a fair amount of time in the West Bank, where we also shot.   This included a lot of places that normal tourists would not see, including predominantly Arab areas such as East Jerusalem, the Arab quarter of the old city, Ramla and the southern part of Jaffa, which is predominantly Arab.   It also included heavily Orthodox areas like Mea Shearim.   I dealt with Israeli Arabs, Palestinians and Bedouins.     Here are a few things I believe I learned there:   First of all, the Palestinians I knew were perfectly normal people with the same interest in living a safe, secure
