Wingnut Wrapup

Today's Wingnut Wrapup respectfully dedicated to Washington State Senator Doug Ericksen, who has introduced a bill that would allow authorities to charge protesters with treason.  Yes, you read that right, and after what we have seen in the last year, don't even begin to tell yourself that this couldn't catch on.

Oh, let's just begin with this, which is one of the weirder contortions I have seen in recent years, designed to lump all the people wingnuts hate into one group, with the Jews, of course, behind it all:

Perhaps the most preposterous thing I've come across since the site I found several years ago that claimed Abraham Lincoln was actually a Jewish guy named Springstein, and giving as conclusive evidence the fact that he freed the slaves, which no good Christian would have ever thought of doing.  You know, no matter who it is, and no matter how much those people hate the Jews, in the end, it's all the Jews' fault.  Well, enough of this; let's get down to the more influential wingnuts:

Matt Vespa, Town Hall:  "Dershowitz: I'll Leave Democratic Party If Ellison Becomes DNC Chair"

Good riddance, Alan.  You've been nothing but a right wing shill for decades now- go where you belong.

Leah Barkoukis, Town Hall:  "There's a Painting of Cops as Animals Hanging in US Capitol"

Get me to the fainting couch!

Dan Spencer, Red State:  "Cotton: Obama ‘Undermined’ Congressional Efforts to Confront Russia"

Obama undermined the Republican congressional effort to kiss Putin's ass, if that's what you mean, Dan.  Oh well, no worry.  Three more weeks and you will be free to sell the country to Putin any time you want.

Susan Wright, Red State:  "Trump Claims Knowledge of the Russian Hacking Allegations That U.S. Intelligence Does Not Have"

Why, because he was in on it from the beginning?  I can't think of any other reason.

Selwyn Duke, Renew America:  "Even if the Russians did hack the emails, so what?"

Treachery by foreign spies?  A rigged election?  Who cares, as long as the Republicans win.  A little more:

"In contrast, there reportedly was also a hacking attempt by Russia on the Republicans. It apparently didn't work, however, because they actually secured their systems."

No, the Russians didn't reveal what they knew about the Republicans because they wanted the Republicans to win. And now they have that information to blackmail those same Republicans into doing what they want.  Like doing away with U.S. intelligence services, for example.

"So here's the Democrat complaint, translated: "We were too incompetent to secure our systems – or react promptly to a perceived threat by a hostile foreign actor – and as a result damning truths about us were revealed. We're such victims!"

Mr.  Lincoln, it's your own damned fault that your skull wasn't strong enough for the bullet to bounce right off.

Micheal Bresciani, Renew America:  "Biblical prophecy exposes the "two state solution" as absolute nonsense"

Someone needs to grow up and get a life.

Ron Fournier, Both Siderist par excellence:  "Two horrible parties, aliens in the lives of most Americans, gave us Trump."

Funny, I seem to remember way back a few months ago, that only one party nominated Trump to run for President.  I guess my memory is failing me.

Christopher Chantrill, American Thinker:  "I Want a President Who Loves America"

Instead, Christopher voted for a man who never loved a damned thing in his life but himself and whatever pussy he happened to be grabbing at the moment.

"Because the American people are sending Donald Trump in a couple of weeks to Washington to Make America Great Again. They have decided that all American lives matter, not just the little darlings of the liberals."

And you know who "the little darlings of the liberals" are.  Hint: they have very heavy tans.

Patricia McCarthy, American Thinker:  "The hollow women planning to ‘march on Washington’...Petulant, ill-informed, self-centered women who should be ignored and dismissed.   These women make me admire Trump more than I ever thought possible.

These women who are going to "march on Washington" are clueless and un-self-aware.  They actually think that the way Trump has spoken about certain women in the past is relevant to the state of the world today.  They either do not know or do not care that ISIS is still on the march, committing horrific terrorist attacks around the world."

Well, ISIS isn't really on the march so much anymore.  Under Obama, they have gone from being a state with oil fields, a standing army and a real economy, and gaining territory rapidly, to a bunch of people who can't manage more than driving a truck into a crowd.  But in any event, how ISIS justifies having a racist bully, sexual abuser and traitor in the White House sort of escapes me.  Oh well, my problem, I guess.

Bryan Fischer, Renew America:  "Much ink has been spilled and many pixels have been posted over the question of what Republicans should replace ObamaCare with, if they keep their oft-repeated promises to repeal it.

The simplest and most direct is – nothing. Don't replace ObamaCare with anything. Let's get government out of health care and allow the people and insurance providers to negotiate among themselves about what options the American people themselves prefer."

Great idea, Bryan.  I can't wait to write to my insurance company and tell them what terms I want, and then see how they negotiate with me.

"The way it works is elegant in its simplicity. If the government is no longer mandating health care options, who will? The American people, that's who. Insurance providers will be forced to ask the American people what they want "

Right.  The insurance companies are going to do whatever the American people want.  Why haven't they been doing that all along?  And by the way, Bryan, poll after poll has shown that what the American people want is a single payer health care system like every other first world country on earth has.  So how does that sit with you, asshole?

By the way, Bryan passes himself off as a religious guy, but here he is selling the American people down the river to rich corporations.  How do you think Jesus would feel about that?

Cliff Kincaid, Renew America:  "...groups like the SPLC are attempting to portray racial consciousness among white people as something to fear."

Imagine that!  I wonder where they got that idea.

"But for those willing to understand the deteriorating conditions in many white communities, a good book is Hillbilly Elegy by J.D. Vance. A few correspondents, such as Jake Tapper of CNN, have discovered that Vance offers valuable insights that help explain Trump's victory. During a recent interview, Vance highlighted how Trump had focused during the campaign on the heroin epidemic affecting white America in the Rust Belt states."

Funny that when black people use Heroin, they are worthless, degenerate criminals that belong in prison.  When white people use Heroin, they are just reacting to the way they have been sacrificed to political correctness, and ought to be the ones who pick our President.  Me personally, I'd like to see the whole pack of these white junkies OD and rid the gene pool of their pathetic presence.

And here's a real doozy, from a paid contributor to CNN:

Erick Erickson, The Resurgent:  "Is Sandy Hook also a legacy of the Affordable Care Act?  ...one must consider that when the Democrats had the opportunity and power to prevent Sandy Hook, they chose to do nothing."

Yes, the Sandy Hook Shooting was caused by Obamacare.  There you go- a real taste of Conservative "reality."  And all you need to know about news networks hiring right wing liars to balance liberal commentators.

Larry Elder, Town Hall:  "'Repeal and Replace' Obamacare -- With the Free Market"

I.e. with corporate theft from sick people.  Yeah, that's the answer.  The Republican answer, anyway.

Justin Holcomb, Town Hall:  "Trump: I'm Not in Agreement with Assange, I Simply State What He States for the People"

Translation into real world language:  "I know he's lying, but I'm still selling it to the rubes."

Nicholas Ballasy, PJ Media:  "Pence: 'Executive Orders... Will Enable Orderly Transition' After Obamacare Repeal"

Executive orders?  I thought that was treason and a crushing blow to the Constitution?  It certainly was when a Democrat did it.

And let's just finish with this frightening announcement:

WORLD NET DAILY EXCLUSIVE- "URGENT WARNING: 'ARMY OF DEMONS' ON LOOSE"

And you were worried about ISIS.  Well, you can buy the book from World Net Daily:

No sense passing up an opportunity to make a buck off of those demons, I guess.

Your memory isn't failing you. I think the other party is Еди́ная Росси́я.

This Patricia McCarthy of American Thinker must have an interesting private life:

“We had a candidate who has a long record of loving women in an old-school, politically incorrect way, the way men have loved women for thousands of years.”

Yeah the sexual assault of much younger women is nothing new. Prefer it to witty repartee, flowers or help around the house, Patricia?

“Oh, how these indignant women would have loathed JFK! Yes? Of course not. He was a Democrat.”

Oh you really want to do that comparison, Patricia?
JFK was from a very different era – your “old-school” sort actually (there was no political correctness either, lynching was still a thing)
He didn’t need to do grope hard for jollies - JFK was himself young, handsome, charismatic, charming, intelligent, well-read – traits traditionally well regarded by a lot of women – and furthermore an actual war veteran, who later averted World War 3 without kowtowing to the other side.
About as hard as JFK had to work at it was “meet me upstairs?”
Your manly romantic man Trump, on the other hand, is a vile toad-like egomaniac who grabs women by their private parts, is a pig-ignorant buffoon, sells out his country to the Russians, and makes trash television.

“They actually think that the way Trump has spoken about certain women in the past is relevant to the state of the world today.”

The world today... JFK was shot dead in 1963 but somehow he was relevant to Patricia’s argument... ah well...

“certain women” Patricia? No you can’t do the ‘oh they’re all whores anyway’ trick.
He said ‘beautiful women’. The only category left from that– besides donors – are those he wants fired and replaced.

And EVERYTHING a president-elect of the United States says is relevant to the state of the world today.
