It's Treason. How Could We Not Have Known?

Leave it to Alan Keyes founded Renew America to take the lowest road on any issue:

"Execution of Obama's speech to students, violating constitutional rights, by usurping powers
--the beginnings of treason"

Yes, our president, a black man who rose from humble beginnings, thought it would be a good idea to speak to students about staying in school, using himself as proof of what can be accomplished through hard work. To the Republicans, treason.

By the way, as they are so fond of blabbing about the constitution, lets see what it has to say about treason:

Article 3, Section 3: Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.

I'm not quite sure how speaking to schoolchildren falls under this definition, but then, I'm a leftie, and thus presumably don't understand the constitution.

Now, what was Obama's great crime? Here it is:

".... the usurpation of state and local jurisdictions, by federal government, inherent in the orchestrating of this entire set of events"

i.e. speaking to a large group of American citizens.

"Ignoring school superintendents, Obama wrote to school principals announcing his forthcoming speech to school children. This is a serious breach of protocol.

Barack Hussein Obama communicated directly with all of the country's school principals, and got them to march in lock step, without anyone screaming about the school boards being bypassed. The first step of the Marxist game plan is complete."

Bypassing the school boards! God forbid! The armed troops will be out in the streets any second now! Democracy is over! Hail Chairman Obama!

"Such an organized and pervasive assault upon America is literally and thoroughly, treason."

Well, there you go. How do you have a decent country along with people who are willing to believe this? Really, that's not a rhetorical question. Does anybody have an idea? I can't figure it out.

And it wouldn't be as bad if they really believed this. No, they have willingly given themselves over to a sort of violent madness, rather than admit that a black man and a Democrat is the president, and that the large majority that elected him now has its turn to carry out its will.

And there seem to be a lot of them. God help us.

The deluded will always be among us. An even scarier truth though is there are intelligent, albeit blinded by greed and apathy towards their fellow man, people that know how to manipulate these idiots. They convince them that whatever they hate is socialist or pinko. The idiots repeat this as though they were intellectuals. because other idiots buy into this bullshit, they work each other into a frenzy of blind stupidity culminating into large gatherings they call "Tea Parties."

I can't argue with you there, except for the word "large." I've been to five tea parties. I was active in the anti-Vietnam war movement, and I know what a large gathering is. The tea parties I went to were pathetic little spectacles of petulance and frustration.
In my hometown of Quincy anything over eight people is reported as "a large gathering" GE. I guess it's all relative.

Really? Try holding a demonstration in favor of health care reform, and see how quickly "large" morphs into "too insignificant to notice."
