David Vitter Solves the Health Care Crisis
This serious contribution to our national health care discussion, from the well-known Senator and moralist, David Vitter:
"U.S. Sen. David Vitter has endorsed a new study from a conservative think tank that calls for scrapping the nation's employer-based health insurance system in favor of individually owned policies and converting the Medicaid program into vouchers for private insurance."
Remember a couple of years ago when they wanted to do that sort of thing with Social Security? Boy, they never give up, do they?
I wonder if there is an undiscovered provision in Vitter's plan that allows people to spend their health care vouchers on prostitutes. That would certainly explain things.
Or, it could just be that he is just unbelievably, stupendously greedy?
He is a Republican, so it's hard to say.
