Wingnut Wrapup

Well, we've got to read something to cheer us up while we're all waiting to get Ebola.

Brad Jackson, Red State:  "Government, Hospital Fumble Handling of Ebola Spread in Dallas"

The hospital is part of   Texas Health Resources, " one of the largest faith-based, nonprofit health care delivery systems in the United States..."

Faith based.  And how is this the government's fault?  Well, isn't everything?

Repair Man Jack, Red State:  "Progressivism will lead to the rise of neo-fascism...The current, dying state of Europe is our warning that the world must be saved from Progressivism. That starts at home. That starts with the election of 2014. By killing the human spirit, Progressivism reduces societies braced by vibrant and sustaining cultures into dystopias of brain-washed, homogeneous diversity"

Oh come on, guy.  At least try to make sense.  Well, I guess that's what you get when you hire a repair man to write about political philosophy.

Frank J. Fleming, PJ Media:  "Now, I want to note that I don’t mean this analogy to be disrespectful to President Obama. But I think most historians will back me when I say his presidency is the equivalent of a dumb child running into tables."

Oh no, he didn't mean to be disrespectful in the least.  Another recent article by Frank J. Fleming:

"What if One Day We Get a Bad President?  The consequences of being saddled with a non-progressive, dumb chief executive are too horrible to imagine."

Sad to say, Frank, we don't have to imagine that.  It already happened.  Remember now?  It wasn't that long ago.  You know what, guy, you should shut the fuck up.  No, seriously.

Roger L. Simon, PJ Media:  "In Praise of Benjamin Netanyahu"

Boy, there's one article that nobody is going to get me to read.  Netanyahu- Newt Gingrich in a yarmulke.

Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit:  "State Dept. Criticizes Former Pot-Smoking ISIS Terrorist… Do They Know Who’s in the White House?   President Barack Obama was a pot-smoking party boy who turned away from his childhood Islamic upbringing."

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.  Obama is an ISIS terrorist too.  That's why he's bombing the hell out of them.  And Jim is so stupid and so lost in his Conservative fog that he doesn't even realize that, to the vast majority of Americans, smoking pot proves that Obama is normal, and not just one more of the political robots that Republicans specialize in.

Clenard Childress, Renew America:  "Bamboozled or just plain traitors?"

This is an article about- get ready for it- Planned Parenthood.  Traitors.  Really.  It doesn't take much to be a traitor these days.  Unless you are a Republican, in which case giving 2,000 missiles to our enemies or revealing the identity of secret agents for political gain, or deliberately undercutting the nation in dangerous foreign situations don't even count.

Roger Ogden, Renew America:  "Announcing National Impeach Obama Week II...Large and small protests are encouraged all across the Nation. "

Well, small protests anyway.  Last time they tried this, way back in August, they averaged about 6 people per protest.  Any bets on how they do this time?
A typical massive crowd from the last National Impeach Obama day

World Net Daily:  "Bush on ISIS: 'I know the nature of the enemy'

This from the guy who looked into Vladimir Putin's eyes and knew he was someone we could trust.  Take it for what it's worth.

Mona Charen, Town Hall:  "There's really only one thing that progressives get wrong: human nature."

That's why progressives are doing so poorly with women, Mona.  Thanks for pointing that out to us.

Mark Skousen, Town Hall:  "Consumer Spending Causes Economic Growth?"

Of course not.  According to Mark, all economic growth is caused by the "producers," i.e. those benevolent rich people.  The fact that people buy your product has nothing to do with the success of your company.  That's just a liberal lie.

Leon H. Wolf, Red State:  "Meghan McCain is a Spoiled Harpy"

Just thought you'd like to know.

Kristinn Taylor, Gateway Pundit:  "PHOTOS: Dallas Crews Clean Up EBOLA VOMIT Without SUITS!"

Actually, they were washing the sidewalk outside the ebola victim's apartment five days later.  Ebola virus has a life outside the body of 4-6 hours.  But panic everyone, panic!  That's the answer.  A commenter on this post helpfully provided this illustration:
Okay...let's just move on here.

World Net Daily EXCLUSIVE!  "Michael Savage blames 'President Obola' for virus in U.S...Savage who has a doctorate in epidemiology, said Obama refused to employ the basic epidemiological rule of quarantining a deadly virus, “because the far-left agenda is to have an open-borders policy.”

I just thought I would report this story, which is appearing at various sites around the wingnut world today, because Michael Savage does not have a doctorate in epidemiology.  He actually does have a doctorate, but it is in ethnomedicine, the study of folk medical practices.  Not quite the same thing, but don't worry- it's only a little lie by Conservative standards.

World Net Daily:  "Dogs eating Ebola victims, spreading epidemic"

Just in case you are not in a big enough panic already.

World Net Daily:  "Man with 'Arabic accent' roams school hallways"

Oh my God, head for the hills!!!  I just hope he hasn't been eating any dogs.  This could turn out to be like something out of Night of the Living Dead.

Astute Bloggers:  "WILL THIS BE BARRY'S LEGACY?"

No, I don't think so.  No matter how much you wish it were.  His legacy will be giving health care to ten million people, not causing them to die.  Sorry about that, I know how disappointed it makes you.

Astute Bloggers:  " WHETHER OBAMA READ AND IGNORED THE PDB'S, OR DIDN'T READ THEM, THE REMEDY IS THE SAME: IMPEACH OBAMA FOR MALFEASANCE

REPEAT: IT DOESN'T MATTER IF OBAMA READ AND IGNORED THE PDB'S, OR IF HE DIDN'T READ THEM, THE RESULT IS THE SAME AND THE REMEDY IS THE SAME:  CONGRESS MUST IMPEACH OBAMA FOR MALFEASANCE."

Whether he is guilty or not!  They must impeach him.  MUST, MUST, MUST!!!!!  Waaaaaahhh!

Charles Krauthammer, National Review Online:  "What a Republican Congress Could Do"

This?

Kristin Tate, Breitbart:  "Children Walking Freely Near Ebola Patient's Apartment Appear Unafraid"

Will the horrors never end?  The article continues:

"The residents seen walking nonchalantly around the complex appeared to have no fear of the virus. One child was even heard saying, "I'm not afraid that anything is going to happen to me."

Well, apparently that makes them smarter than Kristin Tate.  Not much of an accomplishment, unfortunately, when you think about it.

I'm happy to see someone paying attention to this. As you may know, a significant focus of my blog has been the continued demonstration that the supposedly mighty right wing movement in this country is a total fiction, created by Republicans and their stooges in the mainstream press. The colossal failure of this movie is just one more piece of that puzzle.

Of course, like all the failed marches on Washington, what it costs to make this horrid film means nothing to the hyper-rich sociopaths who finance such things. The publicity that it got in advance, with the mainstream media basically accepting the producers' claims about how important it was, is all the return that is needed to see that more pathetic things like this are made, only to be swept away with the dust of history when their (as I think I may now say) inevitable humiliating failure occurs.
