Too Pathetic to Ridicule

As you know, I have been waiting with anticipation for today, the day that Larry Klayman has been promising for months that the massive crowd of millions that he would assemble on this date in front of the White House would drive Obama from office, end the Federal Government's right to control the States, etc. etc. etc. and basically destroy the United States as we know it:

"Obama's reckoning to come on November 19!Klayman Calls for the Masses to Force Resignation of Convicted President
Last Wednesday, the great usurper, Barack Hussein Obama, after having been indicted by an Ocala, Florida citizens' grand jury, was convicted by a people's court of defrauding the American people...The day of reckoning has come. Obama, having failed to plead in response to the indictment that was served upon him, waived his right to a jury trial. Thumbing his nose at We the People, as the citizens' prosecutor, I appeared before a citizens' court judge and presented evidence from Cold Case Posse investigator Michael Zullo showing that Obama tricked voters into electing him in 2008 and 2012. As a result, the citizens' judge found him guilty on two counts of falsifying information to federal and state election officials. He was thus sentenced to the maximum prison term for these offenses of 10 years, and ordered to immediately surrender himself into the custody of the citizens of the United States and Florida.
On November 19, 2013, a day that will hopefully live on in the history of our once great republic, I call upon millions of Americans who have been appalled and disgusted by Obama's criminality...to descend on Washington, D.C., en masse, and demand that he leave town and resign from office if he does not want to face prison time."

And on and on.  In pursuit of his goal, Larry assembled a star-studded collection of wingnut wacko supporters and speakers: Alan Keyes, Pam Geller, Bob Barr, Joseph Farah, Larry Pratt, Bradlee Dean and many more.

Well, the day finally came.   Unfortunately the people didn't.  I must unfortunately announce that all of this work, all of the publicity this event got across the wingnut world, managed to produce an attendance of under 100 people.  From the whole nation!

This is beyond ridicule.  I never want to ever hear again a single person claiming that the tea party is anything but a gigantic mirage, that there are any real supporters for the filthy brew being sold by the likes of Ted Cruz and Louie Gohmert.  The whole political battle in the United States now comes down to the people versus a few sociopathic mega-billionaires and the charade of a movement that they dance in front of the people when it suits their purpose.  We have been fighting a shadow, and all too often losing.  It is long past time that people stop pretending that the right in this country is in any way a legitimate movement, and get on with our lives.

Terry Krepel, who manages ConWebBlog (http://conwebwatch.tripod.com/blog/)posted a flyer near the gathering that included some inconvenient facts about Klayman. He was threatened with a lawsuit. Ironically, the flyer lists several cases Klayman has managed to lose.

Please never stop reporting these humiliations, I find them vastly entertaining.
Vastly infuriating too, but entertaining.
