Self Appointed?

Here's an amusing comment from some God-forsaken wingnut blog:

"It seems that snow wasn't the only thing piling up on the White House lawn last week. President Obama met with a trio of self-annointed black leaders; Benjamin Jealous, president of the NAACP, Marc Morial, president and CEO of the National Urban League, and the omnipresent Rev. Al Sharpton, president of the National Action League."

Self-annointed? Weren't they elected to be leaders by their organizations, two of which have a decades-long record of public service? What exactly makes them "self-annointed?" The fact that they don't agree to shout out Republican party-line drivel at every opportunity?

I guess they are nothing like Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck, who were annointed by God. Or at least Rupert Murdoch.

What a bunch of dicks there are in the world.

Self-Annointed is a call to the religious racists. It's akin to when they call President Obama the Messiah. They want the mount breathing religious bigots to get the zealous ire up especially at them uppity you-know-what's who don't know their place.

Right as usual, Gene. It's funny how only you and I seem to have figured out that things have gotten far beyond the point where it's still appropriate to be polite to these dickheads that are destroying our civilization in order to get in on the short term profits.

Wingnuts Slightly Annoyed about that $83 Million

How can you look like a decrepit old geezer and an out of control two year old at the same time? I thought it might be nice to look in on wingnut world to see how they are taking yesterday's $83 million dollar Trump legal loss.  You kind of know that they will decide it shouldn't affect their opinion of him in any way, but it might be helpful to see just how the Republican party has trained them to reject any fact they don't like.  Not that surprisingly, a lot of the usual wingnut suspects didn't touch this loss at all, preferring to just ignore anything that interferes with their hateful daydreams, but here are a few excerpts from an article at Gateway Pundit, along with a sample of the hundreds of comments it received.  Enjoy.  Or not.  And nobody hears it, is it really running for President at all? First of all, a note about my absence lately:  My wife got me to sign up for an account at Threads, which is sort of like X without the assholes.  I've spent a little time establishing myself there, and I have to say, I do like the relatively immediate exchange of views, but I don't mean to give up my blog- there are still so many things that can't be dealt with in a couple hundred words, so, perhaps to your dismay, I am back.
