Incompetent

Robert Dear, the Planned Parenthood mass murderer, was yesterday found unfit to stand trial, based on his 20 year history of asserting that the Federal Government was out to get him.

This makes him just about as mentally incompetent as ninety percent of the people I cover at Wingnut Wrapup, and their millions of followers, including such national figures as Ted Cruz, Louie Gohmert, Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann.

I have absolutely nothing to support what I am going to say now, but my life's experience.  This guy is no more "mentally incompetent" than the average Trump or Cruz supporter.  What really happened here was that the judicial process was rigged to prevent the real truth about the anti-abortion movement and its enablers from playing out in front of the American people, through his trial.

The guy will now be locked away where nobody can get at him, and we can all forget about the incitement that led him to murder.

Call this a conspiracy theory; I don't care.  I believe it.

I do, too. That decision just reeked of smokescreen.

I have to respectfully disagree with you, for two reasons.

(1) No matter how bad the average Trump or Cruz supporters are, they do not, as a rule, drink their own urine straight from the toilet like Robert Dear did, nor do they believe Robin Williams' death was the result of a Mafia-style hit ordered by Barack Obama.

(2) The ruling that Dear is unfit to stand trial is temporary. His case will be reviewed, and another decision will be made on August 11. If Dear is declared unfit then, there will be yet another review three months later. Either we get a trial sometime in the future, in which case the story will come out, or there will be reviews every three months for the rest of Dear's life, in which case the shooting will remain in the news indefinitely. If this is a cover-up, it's a really bad one.

Despite to jumping to a conclusion here, you have been doing good work; keep it up.

Anahid,

I hear what you are saying. As I said, it is just my suspicion that this is what is going on here. However, if they could rig a competency hearing once, they can do it forever, and as gruaud says, there is just something about this that is very suspicious to me. I would say that we will see some day, but I am afraid we never will.

I understand. It's that my father loves conspiracy theories, and thinks there are anti-Armenian ones everywhere. He can often be a jerk without even trying, but he can be really obnoxious when he puts his mind into it. I'm sorry you had to deal with Mr. Hagopian.

Part of the job, Anahid. I choose to expose myself to this sort of thing, so I have to put up with the consequences. Still, thanks for the sympathy.

I am still getting irrelevant, meaningless comments from Mr. Hagopian, but I'm not posting them. I can understand his impulse to see everything as a conspiracy when your people have suffered so much, and the world pretty much ignored it.

By the way, did you see the three part post on Dominionism I posted a week or so ago, linking Ted Cruz with the Armenian genocide, via R. J. Rushdoony, who created dominionism, and is said to have been influenced in a major way by the Armenian genocide, in which his brother was killed? I was really surprised that Mr. Hagopian had nothing to say about that.
