A Little Tea Party News
From the New York Times:
"classrooms that the group had set up for 500 people ended up with only 5 in them." Well, I guess that about sums it up. I guess the Koch brothers weren't willing to pay to bus people in for that one.
Our country is ruled by a charade, created by the rich and perpetrated by our corrupt media, and this charade may be only a couple of months away from resulting in a government which is deliberately going to cause a depression which may make the 1930's look like a picnic. Don't forget- in the 1930's we still had the world's greatest industrial base, we hadn't given our jobs away, and we weren't crushed with trillions in Republican generated debt. And with nuclear weapons all over the place, don't think we can get out of bad times with another World War. This time, another round of Republican rule will very likely put an end to the United States altogether.
"A group called Unite in Action had hoped to have a three-day Tea Party extravaganza of seminars and rallies in Washington starting Sept. 10, but Ms. Kinnison said that classrooms that the group had set up for 500 people ended up with only 5 in them. And a rally held by Freedom Works that Sunday, while large, was far smaller than the one the group held a year ago.
“This was to be our gauge for the convention and if the owners should pursue the convention and see if they could even break even,” Ms. Kinnison wrote. “Well, the reports back from Washington were not good. The bottom line is … no convention this year for Tea Party Nation!”
