Wingnut Wrapup
A rather poor showing today. After yesterday's miserable performance, I thought we might see some bargain hunting today, but apparently wingnut confidence remains at a low ebb.
Michelle Malkin, Town Hall: "The FCC Will Shut You Up"
Yeah, Michelle, but will they shut you up? That would be change we can believe in.
Tony Blankley, Town Hall: "GOP Must Not Vote 'Present' on Our Future"
Oh no, Tony. They're doing so much better voting 'Absent.'
Neil Stevens, Red State: "There are two kinds of Republicans"
Yeah, crooked ones and dumb ones. Everyone knows that.
E. Ralph Hostettler, Newsmax: "Obama Failures Will Lead to Conservative Revolution"
Hold your breath waiting for that, Ralph. Really. We like to see people turn blue.
Phil Brennan, Newsmax: "Sarah Palin Is a Unifier for the Republican Party"
What's left of it. You go, Sarah.
Tim Dunkin, Renew America: "It's reality check time for the Republican "leadership"
Reality? Republicans? The only reality check they are up for is when they check their reality at the door.
Not that they had much reality to begin with.
James Lewis, American Thinker: "Narcissistic Rage in the White House"
This is about the War on Fox, of course. Here's a new entry from the English-Republican dictionary. "Narcisstic Rage" translates as "Telling the Truth."
It's so simple when you have the book.
The Astute Bloggers: "THE USA HAS THE MOST ENERGY RESERVES OF ANY NATION ON EARTH"
Talk about living in a dream world, huh? I won't bore you with the unique combination of self delusion and fact-inventing that it took to come to this conclusion, but you might like to read the following equally delusional comment from the same article:
"If we could get rid of the Democrat majorities in Congress, then all of our economic problems would vanish."
Astute Bloggers, huh? Here's another definition from the Republican-English dictionary: "Astute" translates as "Unbelievably dishonest." There. That explains a lot, huh?
Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit: "Lib Talker Defends Obama’s Dismal Afghan Record By Claiming Cheney Eats Babies"
The Astute Bloggers: "Leftist Radio Is Pretty Sick: "Dick Cheney Drinks the Blood of Muslim or Jewish Babies"
Mike Malloy tried to start a blood libel about ... Dick Cheney."
Just a couple of examples of this "story" today. First of all, do you guys think that Mike Malloy is really trying to convince anyone that Dick Cheney actually eats babies?
Wait....Now that I think about that, it isn't really so implausible. Maybe it is true....
Thanks for the tip, Mike.
