Thanks for Focusing on the Issues, Moe

Moe Lane, at the major right wing site Red State, links to a post with the following title:

"Anti-Christian White Supremacist Shoots Three People at Holocaust Museum"

Anti-Christian, huh? That's the first thing I thought of when I heard about this, the guy was anti-Christian.
Just have to make yourself the victim, huh, Moe?

The sickness marches on.

Here's some more that I just noticed on Red State:

"Like I've said a hundred times, it's war.
and Democrats ARE the enemy.
They cannot be your friends."

They talk that way, and then they are all SO surprised when someone starts shooting in their war.
We need to deal with this now and in the open.

And more:

"Before he committed murder, was the attacker obeying all DC's gun laws?

Somehow I doubt it. So what good would passing MORE gun control laws do?"

Ah yes. The whole issue here is, can we use a terrorist attack to avoid gun control. Isn't this what the right always accuses the Muslims of- using terrorism to make Americans change their laws?

One expects the anti-Christian thing to be played up for obvious reasons. They have to work hard at separating themselves from anti-semitism since they basically invented it, but to be fair to the devil, von Brunn apparently blamed Christianity for having destroyed the Roman Empire and of course the Roman Empire was a good thing.

Captain,

Being an apparently intelligent and well-informed person, I am sure you are aware that the Nazi party started out with generally pro-Christian leanings. However, after 1933, Hitler began to see the church (along with every other non-Nazi element in society) as a threat to his total domination, and the party became more and more anti-Christian. It became late Nazi doctrine that Christianity had contributed to the destruction of the Roman Empire, as a justification for the eventual elimination of Christianity which they had in mind. Thus, Von Brunn's attitudes are not in significant contrast to Nazi doctrine during the last ten years or so of the party's existence.
