There isn't much I can add to the news about the goon Romney and his un-American, vicious attack on Obama yesterday.  I'd just like to post the following two pictures showing how thrilled with himself Romney was after his filthy comments:   He wasn't just willing to do something totally disgraceful- he was really proud of himself for doing it.  This man has no business having control over any of us, let alone being President of the United States.  He is a sickening, craven jerk.  If this hideous incident ends any chance he has to win the November election, it will be no more than he deserves, and it will bring an early end to the peril that we all would be in if he became the President. I am finding it hard to find adequate words to express my contempt for this miserable excuse for a human being.  Sorry for not being up to the task. As a sort of public service, I would like to link to this post , which links to thirty weekly articles in which Steve Benen documents a grand total of 533 lies told by Mitt Romney in the last thirty weeks.  As Fred Clark, who put together this compilation, points out: "Mitt Romney lies. A lot. He lies more than any other national candidate for office in my lifetime. And I was born before the Nixon administration." Maybe he lies more than anyone in the history of the world- oh, except for his vice presidential pick, who is pretty much running neck and neck with him. Well, not much to be said about this, really, but here it is.  Thanks, guys, for putting this together for those few remaining voters who care about the truth.

Here's something that will make you sick to your stomach: "For secretary of state, most advisors interviewed for this article said that Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) is under serious consideration at the top levels of the campaign." Man, if Obama is still searching for something that will energize Democrats, this would sure be it.

I saw someone refer to Mitt as "the American Borat."  I would love to see that become more widespread.

Who else? Mitt, of course.  Today's example has to do with his supposedly blind trust involving his offshore investments.  Here's a tweet from Radio Iowa's Okay Henderson, regarding an interview he had with her yesterday: "Romney re: off-shore investments – they’re in a blind trust. “I don’t manage them. I don’t even know where they are,” he says." Now, this news, from an Obama campaign research document: "The problem with Romney’s claim? The Bermuda corporation—Sankaty High Yield Asset Investors—was registered in 1997 and Romney was listed as the “the sole shareholder, a director, and president” of the corporation. The Bermuda corporation was under his personal ownership until it was transferred into a blind trust in his wife’s name the day before he was sworn in as governor, possibly to avoid disclosure. In fact, the one fulltax return Romney did release shows that he directly owned the company as recently in 2010 and it was not held in his trus...

Here's what Mitt had to say about Obama today, in his never-ending quest to lie his way into the White House: "That stimulus he put in place, it didn't help private sector jobs, it helped preserve government jobs, and the one place we should have cut back was on government jobs. We have a 145,000 more government workers under this president. Let's send them home and put you back to work!" Naturally, coming from Mitt Romney, this is totally false.  As usual, he is screaming out the standard right wing lie that the Obama stimulus did not generate a single private sector job.  Here's the truth...
