Wingnut Wrapup

Well, we've got a few interesting samples of abject derangement today, so let's get on with them:

Michelle Bachmann, Town Hall: "Should We Trust the Government With Our Health Care? "

Oh no, Michelle, let's just trust the insurance companies instead. I'm sure our health is their number one priority.

Meredith Jessup, Town Hall: "First of all, in the interest of full disclosure, I am a proud Christian. Second, I just have to voice how positively offended I am that Obama would claim opponents of his health care plan are lying, and I am disgusted by the fact that he is now playing on peoples' religious convictions to garner support for Obamacare. "

She's offended. How dare he claim that the death panels, and free health care for illegal aliens and abortion on demand for anyone are lies? Or that Republicans are lying when they insist that it's just wonderful that we are the only industrialized country in the world where people's medical care depends on whether some greedy bastard can make a profit off of us? And now he's "playing on peoples' religious convictions." How could he? What kind of miserable, worthless religion would it be, anyway, that made a point of caring for the sick and the poor? That's not
Christian. No, being against stem cell research and evolution and global warming- that's what Christianity is all about.

Janet LaRue, Town Hall: " Obama Has a 'Pony' For You"

Oh boy, I can hardly wait! It's just what I always wanted! I hope it has a shaggy mane.

I was afraid to actually read the article. Since a Republican wrote it, I just know it's a lie. What do you want to bet that that pony never shows up? And then they'll blame Obama.

Dan McLaughlin, Red State: " There’s No Such Thing As A Death Panel. There’s No Such Thing As A Death Panel. There’s No Such Thing As A Death Panel.
If You Say It Often Enough, You Can Convince Yourself "

Really? You know, I think you're right. I only said it once, and already I suspect that Obama is not actually that likely to have death panels. Silly me, I'm so easy to persuade.

Moe "Lamebrain" Lane, Red State: "I’m tempted to start all my posts with “Herewith, a brief primer…”

Good idea, Moe. Your posts are so stupid, and this way no one will bother reading them. I didn't even read this one, and I usually like a good laugh.

Gateway Pundit: "New York Times book critic Dwight Garner on Wednesday enthused over a new biography of Friedrich Engels, cooing that Marxism is "back in vogue"

Thank you, Bush and Cheney. You made communism look good. Way to go, guys.

Michael M. Bates, Renew America: "If ObamaCare wins, Obama loses"

I'll tell you what, Mike: You go on believing that. I just hope you like surprises

Mike continues:

"If the president succeeds in imosing ObamaCare, it will be a Pyrrhic victory. All those Americans held in such contempt by the liberal establishment will be at the polls next year and in 2012. They'll remember how they were disrespected and ignored."

They'll remember how Obama gave them guaranteed health care, and they are going to take it out of his hide. That's a sure bet, alright. Like I say, you go on counting on that.

World Net Daily: "Tom Delay – proud 'birther"

Tom, Tom, Tom....A little late to the party, aren't you, guy? Everyone else already left.

William Tate, American Thinker: "Rather than looking to Massachusetts or Tennessee for examples of healthcare reform, why not look to Texas?"

Yeah. Good idea. Instead of having health care, just let people die in the street. That'll solve the problem alrighty.

Paul Schlichta, American Thinker: "We Need a Republican Response to ObamaCare"

Fat chance, buddy. Unless you count lying on your bellies and licking the feet of the insurance companies a plan.

Pamela Schuffert, American Holocaust: "because of the planned imposition of the toxic and deadly "VACCINES" for the alleged "SWINE FLU" pandemic coming, he and others predict that it may come to ALL OUT WAR by angry and protesting Americans against the US government/military intentions to impose this series of deadly vaccination. ALL OF THIS potentially means MARTIAL LAW."

Okay, we'll just go out on this one. Just think about this: If someone told you two years ago that people would be running around in the streets screaming that the president was an illegal immigrant communist Nazi Muslim who was planning on starting death panels to kill millions of people, you wouldn't have thought it was any more unlikely than what Pamela has to say here. At the rate that Republicans all seem to be succumbing to mad cow disease, in a couple of more years, the likes of Lou Dobbs will be inviting Pamela on every day for serious discussions about deadly vaccines.

And I'm going to be saying, "I told you so." Scant comfort, but Green Eagle takes pleasure in simple things.

"

I don't trust the insurance companies with my healthcare, I trust doctors. My insurance company doesn't come between my doctor and me. Under the current proposal, the government would.

"he's offended. How dare he claim that the death panels, and free health care for illegal aliens and abortion on demand for anyone are lies?"

Death panels are a term for rationed care. Section 1233 gives us a prelude of this, but rationed care would have to happen once healthcare is nationalized. To say it doesn't shows complete ignorance of economics as well as our medical system.

The abortion claim is also correct, as the bill doesn't exclude abortions. "Women's health" was also supposed to be a cornerstone of the healthcare reform, according to Obama.

As for illegal immigrants, they already receive free healthcare if need be, but the plan solidifies their care.

"What kind of miserable, worthless religion would it be, anyway, that made a point of caring for the sick and the poor?"

What kind of miserable, worthless religion would it be, that made a point of having the government care for the sick and the poor? Funny how when you rephrase a question to be honest how much more obvious the answer becomes. Christians believe it is our responsibility, not the government's, to care for the sick and the poor. By forcing the people to fund it, you take away the entire point of the teaching. WE are supposed to help others, not be forced to help others.

"No, being against stem cell research and evolution and global warming- that's what Christianity is all about."

Stem-cell: We can use normal cells and revert them back to a stem-cell stage, and we are getting better at it every day. We believe life to begin at conception, so the destruction of an embryo to us is killing an innocent person.

Evolution: There is nothing in the Bible that says evolution isn't true.

Global warming: There is nothing in the Bible that says global warming isn't happening. Science and data are saying global warming isn't happening.

"Thank you, Bush and Cheney. You made communism look good. Way to go, guys."

Too bad they were economically conservative.

"They'll remember how Obama gave them guaranteed health care,"

Everyone already has guaranteed healthcare. No one likes getting the same thing twice, that just means we have to take time to return one.

"Yeah. Good idea. Instead of having health care, just let people die in the street. That'll solve the problem alrighty."

Wait times are far less in TX than Mass.

"Okay, we'll just go out on this one. "

LOL, i think this is the first time the content of your WW made me laugh, and not your ignorant response. Thanks for that one.

Derek,

Just a word: I'm working 11 hours a day here, six days a week, and I just can't respond at this time to posts that cover so many issues at once. I'm sorry, but for the next few weeks, I'll do the best I can.

Factcheck says Obama is fabricating BS on the healthcare bill.

I flagged him.
