The Most Depressing Thing I've Ever Heard

From Business Week:

"The bottom line," says an aide to the Senate Finance Committee, "is that health reform would lead to increased revenues and profits [for the insurance industry]. "

If this were true, I would strangle myself with a midi cable.

Luckily, coming from an ally of the insurance industry, it's a lie.

And Blue Dogs, it had better be. Get my drift?

I'm getting really scared that the corporations are willing to destabilize the country and foment civil unrest, forcing a strong response from law and order, and giving the crazies an excuse to break out the guns. The money to be made in health care is so vast that the corporations will never let go. Their mouthpieces are doing the agitation now, and the ignorant violent and greedy are snapping at the bait. They'll start shooting very soon. It's what they've always wanted. For proof, look at the news footage.

Anonymous,
They're coming, they're coming. The vetting process on this has to be really thorough, you know. Otherwise, we might accidentally end up with someone on the panels who isn't committed to Satan. Oops, I meant Obama. I hope I didn't tip any Republicans off to his true identity.
