Sarah At it Again

Sarah Palin, once again demonstrating her commitment to earning a place as a serious political figure:

"The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil."

Is it not time that her remaining supporters realize that they have bought into the lies of a cheap demagogue without the least interest in their welfare?

Of course, that description pretty well fits every Republican, doesn't it? Palin is just a little less able to hide it.

Oh by the way, she had this further to say:

" Rep. Michele Bachmann highlighted the Orwellian thinking of the president’s health care advisor..."

Yes, she approvingly quoted Michelle Bachmann. Talk about the blind leading the blind.

Know who John Holdren is?

Yeah, I know who he is, Derek.

This whole claim is still a gigantic lie, and you know it damn well.

Not so much of a lie as a half-truth, half-lie. Still dishonest but at least we can agree that John Holdren is a moron.

It's a lie, Derek. It has absolutely zero basis in reality, and it is deliberately being told to smear Obama and prevent people from knowing the truth about his health insurance plans.

It is not a "half truth" and you know it damned well. No one is planning to euthanize anyone, and you know that damned well.

When you repeat this lie, which you know perfectly well to be a lie, you make yourself a liar too.

Holdren + rationed care makes it a half-truth.

"No one is planning to euthanize anyone, and you know that damned well."

Except those options where you can choose doctor assisted suicide or a slow painful death from the disease the government refuses to treat you for.

If you read the bill and know anything about how socialized healthcare systems work, you'd realize that this isn't entirely bollocks.
