Dick Cheney, on Face the Nation today:
"CHENEY: Well, then you’d have to say that, in effect, we’re prepared to sacrifice American lives rather than run an intelligent interrogation program that would provide us the information we need to protect America."
Let's leave aside the fact that this loathsome maggot has now renamed torture "an intelligent interrogation program."
So, Dick (and I mean that) how about the American lives you sacrificed so your company could get all of those no-bid contracts that it miserably failed to complete in Iraq, or so that your oil buddies would get a crack at one of the largest oil reserves in the world? I guess that's just fine. Who cares about those Americans, right, as long as someone made a good profit off of their deaths.
By the way, you bray on and on about how you kept the country safe after 9-11. I guess you and George get a pass on 9-11 itself, the largest terrorist attack in our history. If something like that happens on Obama's watch, are you going to be the first to jump up and demand that Obama get a pass until the second terrorist attack? No? Then why do you claim one for yourselves?
