Less Genuine Interest, Indeed
Rich Lowry, who apparently won his position as editor of National Review Online in a no-holds-barred stupidity contest, has this to say about the subject of the Wingnut Freakout of the Day:
"No president had ever nominated a Hispanic woman. Nor had a recent president — or his nominee — expressed less genuine interest in the traditional craft of judging."
I assume, Rich, by "recent," you mean starting the day after Bush one picked Clarence Thomas.
