Wingnut Wrapup

Again, the wingnuts are apparently too busy wrapping up their teabags for the big day tomorrow, to waste much lunacy on their blogs. Here's their pathetic output for today:

Mona Charen, Town Hall: "Lobbying for his health care overhaul, (Obama) claims to advance "evidence-based analysis" as though opponents are relying on myth or superstition."

And? What's your point, there? I mean, myth and superstition has worked for you guys so well, why would you mock it now?

David Limbaugh, Town Hall: "I'll point to some signs that indicate that Barack and Karl might well be soul mates."

That's Karl Marx, by the way, not Karl Malden.

Soul mates? Did they spend a vacation together in Argentina? Boy, Michelle won't like that.

Erick Erickson, Red State: "Well, Nicolle Wallace, Andrew Sullivan, and the left can claim a scalp today."

Because we just forced Sarah Palin to turn her back on her sworn duty. It's ALL our fault. It always is.

Our Little Pammy: "If Palin is anything like I think she is (know she is), Obama's treasonous presidency is responsible for this....She did not quit. She is going to get into the fight to save America."

Oh, okay, it's not all of us liberals. Obama did it all himself, with his treason. Okay, then. Now, Michelle is going to be madder than ever.

Ryan Mauro, Pajamas Media: "Bon Jovi Isn’t Giving Up on Iran’s Green Revolution — and Neither Should You"

I'm so relieved, and, really, comforted now that I know Bon Jovi isn't giving up on Iran. Finally, I can sleep at night. Maybe they could have a benefit concert with Ted Nugent.

Hans "vote fraud is my middle name" VonSpakovsky, Pajamas Media: "In Washington, Conservatives Are Never Really ‘In Power"

Even when you controlled the White House, both houses of Congress and the Supreme Court. I see your reasoning there- every thing that happened during that time turned out to be a disaster, and conservatives could never cause a disaster, right? So, Q.E.D. despite appearances, they weren't really in control after all! I follow your logic there.

Idiots. May I again harp on a subject I have been mentioning for some time now: the pathological inability of conservatives to take responsibility for anything they have done.

Gateway Pundit: "Ugh... Anti-Defamation League Warns of White Supremists Co-opting Tea Parties"

Ahh, at last a Conservative with some sense of self respect...oh, wait:

"Look for the state-run media to run with this news. They love bashing the fiscal conservatives who speak out against Dear Leader's socialist utopia."

Oh, or as one of your commenters put it, the ADL is "Rabidly Marxist." Well, we can't have that, can we? White supremacists are far better for us than the ADL.

Gateway Pundit: "State-Run Media Smears GOP for Pushing Family Values"

Here's the example from this post. As far as I can tell, the "state run media" (that would be Yahoo) is smearing the Republicans for violating family values, not pushing them. Subtle, I admit, but I hope you can see the slight difference there.

Gary Bauer, Human Events: "America’s leftists have often had a difficult time recognizing treasonous acts among their own. Hanoi Jane Fonda sided with the Communist North Vietnamese and defamed American POWs, and the Left embraced her as its spokeswoman."

Another trend I have remarked on lately: The right's need to go back to the sixties to find anything wrong that their opponents supposedly did. I wonder if Gary Bauer will have anything to say about the conservative pundit on Glenn Beck's show the other day, who called for Al Qaida to attack the United States again? Gary, is that treason too? No? I didn't think it would turn out to be.
