Kids Today

From The American Spectator, drawing on its decades of colossal stupidity to come up with this one:

Roger Scruton: "Why do young people today refuse to accept criticism from anyone older, who might know a thing or two more than they do?"

Roger, do you think it may have something to do with them looking around and seeing what a gigantic pile of garbage older people like you have left them in the way of a life?

Do you think it might have something to do with them seeing greedy bastards like you selling their children into poverty to get a few hundred dollars in tax cuts? Do you think it might have something to do with them watching you older people, so filled with wisdom, sending them off to die in a war, while you rake in the profits? Do you think it might have something to do with them seeing older people like you lie and cheat your way through life, and then have the nerve to stand there and blab to them about religion?

No, I guess it's just that kids today are no damned good. And it's probably the liberals' fault too. Honestly, I couldn't be bothered to read far enough into your pathetic article to find out.

Heavy. And right on. A terrific point, well made.

Of course, my kids don't respect me because they are rotten bums. It couldn't be anything I did.
