Wingnut Wrapup- 4/20 Edition

Hey, it's April 20th! That's smoke a joint day for us, Hitler's birthday for them. And you know which them I'm talking about. But why not let them speak for themselves:

Ed Feulner, Town Hall: "Making the Number Who Hire Go Higher"

Guess how? Here's Ed's answer:

"Instead of another “stimulus,” lawmakers should begin by reducing the corporate tax rate."

Boy, nothing I love like fresh thinking.

Debra J. Saunders, Town Hall: "Using the Oklahoma City Bombing"

Debra doesn't feel that President Bill Clinton has a right to say a thing about Oklahoma City, because he got a blow job once. On the other hand, it is apparently just fine for conservatives to use the Oklahoma City bombing by actually having done it.

Joel Mowbray, Town Hall: "Evidence is mounting that President Barack Obama will unveil a new Middle East peace plan in the coming months. Not only would this attempt inevitably fail, but it would directly harm U.S. security..."

Joel there knows absolutely nothing about what this alleged plan might include but it would "inevitably fail." How, he has no idea, but it will. Negroes can't do anything right. And furthermore, Joel insists:

"...such a move should only be welcomed by the enemies of America."

But of course anything Obama does is for the benefit of our enemies, right? So even if we know nothing about Obama's plan, it's fine to claim that it is a plot to aid our enemies.

Mona Charen, Town Hall: " Democrats Hate That Tea Parties Are Peaceful"

Yeah, Mona, that's because all your money and all your free media promotion couldn't get enough people to show up to cause that much trouble.

Moe Lane, Red State: "The Food and Drug Administration is planning an unprecedented effort to gradually reduce the salt consumed each day by Americans…because, of course, the FDA has nothing better to do with its time."

The FDA has nothing better to do with its time than improve the quality of our food. How did they ever get the idea that they had a right to interfere in that?

Dave Poff, Red State: "How Do You Think *WE* Feel Mr. President?"

I don't know, really stupid and filled with rage?

Confederate Yankee: "Bill Clinton: Child Torturer and Killer...His life should end in a federal prison."

Man, what do you say about something like this? I give up.

Confederate Yankee: "It has taken several years of hard work, but the top two leaders of al Qaeda in Iraq have been confirmed killed in a joint U.S./Iraqi operation"

Yeah. "It has taken several years of hard work" being right wing code talk for "Obama did nothing- Bush and Cheney did it all."

John Hinderaker, Power Line: "Aren't members of the Senate Judiciary Committee not just entitled, but probably obligated to question Ms. Kagan about whether she is a lesbian"

Oh sure. Aren't we all entitled to know whether John Hinderaker keeps a large supply of cockroaches up his asshole? And I mean I want proof.

Roger Kimball, Pajamas Media: "What should we make of Obama’s merriment regarding America's overtaxed citizens? What does it tell us about his sense of humor? More importantly, what does it tell us about his character?"

What does it tell us about his character? It tells us that he has enough character to tell the truth. That's something you guys wouldn't understand.

Matt C. Abbot, Renew America: "Beware of excessive criticism, says priest"

Because we must be very temperate in displaying disapproval of an organization dedicated to churning out child sexual abusers. I mean, everything in moderation. You know, like 200 molested deaf boys. After all, it could have been 2000.

World Net Daily: "Brace yourself! Next bubble to burst could be $600 trillion"

Boy, that would be frightening. Particularly as the entire world GDP is about $60 trillion, so that means that after the next bubble, no one on earth is going to make a dime for ten years. Boy, now that's a bubble.

I think that number might come from the same people who count the attendance at tea parties for World Net Daily.

Roslyn Smith, American Thinker: "I am trying to figure out how Morris Dees of the Southern Povertly Law Center differs from Maxi Bialystock in The Producers."

Well, how about this one for a start: One of them is a real person, and one of them is a character in a musical. Of course they're both Jewish if that's what you were getting at, so I guess they must both be swindlers.

Astute Bloggers: "THEY KEEP TRYING TO SLIME THE TEA PARTY, BUT IT WON'T WORK"

BECAUSE THE TEA PARTIERS DO IT TO THEMSELVES EVERY TIME THEY OPEN THEIR MOUTHS!

4/20!!! Firedoglake is putting their resources behind rationalizing the laws. Good-oh.

Reducing salt intake starting now, would certainly reduce the cost of health care for the next century.
