Can nobody find a way to relieve us of the need to constantly have to listen to the disgusting contributions to our discourse by the non-maverick? This guy has less self-respect than just about anyone on earth.

We agree on something! Unfortunately, you have just described 99.99999999% of all politicians in this country.

Thanks. Silverfiddle. McCain's disease may be all too common among politicians, but I suspect that we can both agree that this guy has a disastrously bad case of it.

We need people in this country that take politics seriously, and all people like McCain do is turn off millions to political involvement.

How can you look like a decrepit old geezer and an out of control two year old at the same time?  And nobody hears it, is it really running for President at all? First of all, a note about my absence lately:  My wife got me to sign up for an account at Threads, which is sort of like X without the assholes.  I've spent a little time establishing myself there, and I have to say, I do like the relatively immediate exchange of views, but I don't mean to give up my blog- there are still so many things that can't be dealt with in a couple hundred words, so, perhaps to your dismay, I am back.
