Wingnut Wrapup

Yeah, they're still here, and Green Eagle is on their trail. The idiocy just never ends:

Congressman Tom Price, Red State: "As you read this, President Obama, Speaker Pelosi, and Senator Reid are lining up their troops to drag their government takeover of health care across the finish line....they are absolutely determined to jam this through with an iron fist regardless of the electoral consequences."

One more comment from a Republican absolutely stunned that it would occur to our leaders to put the good of the nation above their own careers. I'm serious here- it is absolutely spectacular how unashamed they are to announce that it is stupid to think of America first.

Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit: "The National Enquirer is in the running for a Pulitzer Prize for reporting after breaking and covering the Edwards’ scandal, something the rest of the state-run media refused to do."

Maybe because the jerk has been out of office for years, and no one cares about his affair. To you, of course, it is more important than health care for millions of Americans.

Joseph Farah, World Net Daily: "Al Gore is not a serious person. He's a get-rich-quick artist who is peddling the biggest con game in the history of man...He's nothing but a two-bit charlatan"

Projecting a little there, Joseph?

Bob Unruh, World Net Daily: "Attorney Orly Taitz told WND today she is considering – and will decide very quickly because of a coming deadline – whether she should submit her own name as a candidate for the state office."

Oh goody! There is nothing Green Eagle would like better than a chance to report on Orly's run. That will be one of the most hilarious events in our nation's history. You go, Orly.

Jim Fletcher, World Net Daily EXCLUSIVE: "Did it come from outer space?...Gary Bates is...The U.S. director of the apologetics group, Creation Ministries International, Bates had a burden several years ago to investigate the UFO phenomenon. We should be grateful. Bates here references Revelation 16:14-16, in proposing that demonic spirits seek to alter perceptions, thus destroying human discernment."

Just thought you needed to know about this important EXCLUSIVE story. It wasn't aliens, it was demons. Thank heaven we got that straight. Once again, World Net Daily is on top of the news that others totally missed. Of course, that's only because the Weekly World News folded.

James Capretta, National Review Online: "Implausible End-Game- We are now witnessing the depths to which the administration is willing to sink to get its version of health-care reform passed."

The depths of passing it by majority vote. Shocking!

Cold Fury: "…I urge every American who wants this reform to make their voice heard as well”...Fuck you, Barky."

Good Idea. Send a letter to the President of the United States that says "Fuck you, Barky." I am positive that he will respond appropriately to your constructive comment on our nation's governance.

Dan Riehl, Riehl World View: "Reconcile this, you distasteful, malevolent little quisling punk...Only a fool with no clear appreciation of, or for, America past and present, would dare undertake what this pustule in the White House is attempting to do."

Pustule. And they attack us for making fun of that ignorant, self-serving quitter, Sarah Palin. By the way, Dan, do you have a clue about what the term "Quisling" refers to? I don't think so, given the way you used it above.

Kathryn Lopez, Town Hall: " Bunning Does the Right Thing"

What, he agreed to shut up and never be seen in Washington again?

Moe Lane, Red State: "So, how far into Crazyland has the netroots gone when it comes to Sarah Palin? Let me put it this way: I now wait in breathless anticipation for the day that someone in the Online Left announces that they’re about to be given incontrovertible evidence that she’s secretly a Jew."

Yeah, Moe is right on target, too. Because to most people in the Left, it would be such an insult to be called a Jew. Wait a minute...I thought that all those left wing bloggers were Jews...I'll have to give this some more thought.

At least one thing is certain. We will never, ever, ever see conservatives stooping to vile behavior like this. I mean, for example, who could even imagine conservatives accusing Obama of being, say. a Muslim?

Tom Blumer, Pajamas Media: "If leftists are so intelligent, why are we so broke?"

Because you guys stole all the money, you stupid dick.

Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit: "Commie Students Protest Campus Budget Cuts"

Now it's down to "commies?" What next, "poopyheads?"

Nathan Tabor, Renew America: "School administrators in Texas face a federal lawsuit filed on behalf of three students, accusing the school district of refusing to allow children to carry or read the Bible...The lawsuit, filed in Houston, alleges that a teacher pulled two sisters from class after discovering that they were carrying Bibles and threatened to have them picked up by child-welfare authorities."

Well, anyway, they faced a lawsuit several years ago, until the courts threw it out when it turned out that the allegations were totally false. Somehow, Nathan never makes that quite clear in this article. In fact, he never mentions it at all. Must be an oversight, right?

Michael Gaynor, Renew America: "Did the Brooklyn DA's office refuse to prosecute ACORN crimes? If his investigators had actually watched the videotapes, they would have found ACORN employees apparently advising a pimp and prostitute on how to defraud mortgage lenders, deposit prostitution money in a bank, hide money from the government and avoid detection while running a whorehouse with teenage girls from El Salvador."

Yes, they would have found ACORN employees "apparently" advising a pimp and a prostitute on the tape. But when they found out that no such thing ever happened, and the tape had been edited to present a totally false impression of what did take place, they found ACORN to be innocent. Just like the Renew America article mentioned above, the author did not think it necessary to mention this information. These guys can't tell the truth about anything.

Joseph Farah, World Net Daily: "Obama: Hiding himself in plain sight...Barack Obama is everywhere. There's no escape. If you turn on the tube, there he is."

He's the president, you moron. What do you expect him to do, live in the closet like Harry Potter?

A little note: Those of you who have read Wingnut Wrapup for a while may have noticed the disappearance of one of its most dedicated contributors, Pam Geller. Pam's blog, Atlas Shrugs, has descended into being nothing but an endless outpouring of hatred directed at Muslims and Obama, and it just isn't funny any more, it's sickening. I think it is a good idea to keep our eyes on wingnuts, but there is no sense in stepping that deep into the garbage.
