Education? Who Needs It?
From the L.A. Times today:
"In Utah, a plan to cut 12th grade...The proposal by state Sen. Chris Buttars would chip away at Utah's $700-million shortfall...At Utah's West Jordan High School, the halls have swirled lately with debate over the merits of 12th grade: Is it a waste of time?"
Hey, why bother with school at all? Let those little brats fend for themselves, just like the rest of us. After all, what have they ever done for me?
And besides, not only would that balance the budget, but it would probably leave a lot left over to invade more countries full of brown people, or maybe to cut corporate taxes.
