Wingnut Wrapup

They just never stop lying, do they?

Town Hall: "President Barack Obama on Saturday pinned blame on Republicans for making life harder for the unemployed and for those who could lose their jobs without new federal intervention."

So? You got a problem with that? Because it's true, you know.

Dan Benishek, Red State: " This administration is going to push the Senate to pass a cap-and-trade bill this summer. Then, with the same arrogance we have seen before from this administration..."

I.e. they are going to actually try to pass legislation. The abomination! Exercising the power you were given by the American people- Communism, I tell you. When Democrats do it.

Red State: "Kagan May Have Compared NRA to KKK"

And? What's your point?

Red State: "Celts should have won that game!!!"

They didn't.

Michael Ledeen? "We're in a real shooting war with Iran. We have to admit it."

We are? On what planet?

Kevin Price, Renew America: "As the private sector shrinks, the public sector grows"

How about if we just shrink them both? Then we can have that depression you Republicans seem to want so much. Great thinking there, Kevin.

Sher Zieve, Renew America: "Media and other radical leftists openly call for Obama dictatorship"

This is happening on the same planet where Iran and the U.S. are in a shooting war. Do you guys know what "shooting" means? I don't think it means "shooting your mouth off."

Kevin Jackson, American Thinker: "The slave mentality...One could educate oneself out of the slave mentality if it weren't for the fact that we begin acquiring the slave mentality in government schools. It is mandatory that children attend school in America, with only a small percentage of kids who opt out of government schools in search of alternatives. Still, our master takes tax money from all and gives it to the 70% of the students who attend government schools."

Better to close all the schools and let kids be "home schooled" by a bunch of ignorant, stupid racists. That will really help our country move forward. The real truth is to be found in the last sentence- these greedy bastards just don't want to pay a penny for anything, no matter how much of a moral obligation it is. Just try to take their government services away, though...then you'll see real anger.

Politico: "HERSHEY, Pa.— Rep. Darrell Issa, the conservative firebrand whose specialty is lobbing corruption allegations at the Obama White House, is making plans to hire dozens of subpoena-wielding investigators if Republicans win the House this fall."

Responsible government, Republican style. Get ready for it.

Vladimir, Red State: "The two decisions that BP made that probably contributed most directly to a hazardous situation were: 1) the decision to run a long string of casing, instead of a liner with subsequent tieback; and 2) the decision to proceed with cementing the casing against Halliburton’s recommendation, despite continued returns of gas cut mud and lots of indications of a low expectation of a good cement job."

Forget the engineering, idiot. The decision that BP made that contributed the most to this situation was to trust the corrupt Republican party to get them off the hook for their behavior, no matter what they did. That's what really caused this disaster.

Update: This, from the Christian Science Monitor, supporting my view:

"This is not an engineering problem, it’s a management problem, and it’s BP’s management that screwed up,” says Bruce Johnson, a professor emeritus of oceanic engineering at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md."

Joseph Farah, World Net Daily: "The only way you can know what the tea-party movement is all about is to interview every single activist individually."

Listen, Joseph, that's one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. All you have to do is listen to a couple of their ignorant, hateful leaders- like you.

World Net Daily: "ACORN buster joins 'Taking America Back' conference...Hannah Giles to speak, along with presentation from Molotov Mitchell, D.J. Dolce"

Because all it takes to succeed as a conservative is the ability to pass yourself off as a prostitute.

Raymond Richman, American Thinker: "Is Obama's BP Shakedown an Impeachable Offense?"

Grow up, Raymond. If killing a million innocent civilians like Bush and Cheney did isn't an impeachable offense, do you really think protecting the American people against a corrupt corporation is? What, you do? I should have known.

Dan Riehl, Riehl World View: "Targeting Barton Won't Help Obama, If The GOP Grows A Spine"

Listen, Dan, where have you been the last eight years? The Republicans have plenty of spine. What they need to grow is a brain.

Why wouldn't conservatives lie? It's all they do, it's all they want and it's the only thing they have to support the fascist republican party.
