One Segment of World Economy Still Strong

I just know this news is going to make you so hopeful about where the world is heading in these troubled times:

"STOCKHOLM (Reuters) – Worldwide military spending surged to a record $1.5 trillion last year, defying an economic downturn caused by the global financial crisis, a leading think tank said on Wednesday."

Isn't that just great news? Next year maybe we will hear that sales of burglary tools have reached a new high.

I don't think we'll have to worry much about burglary tools if military spending keeps rising.
