Bye Bye Democrats

All our work. The fact that the American public is on our side on almost every issue. The manifest disasters produced by eight years of Republican rule. The clear fact that the Republican party has given in to a vicious, willing madness. All of it means nothing. The Republican party is going to take back Congress and the White house by 2012.

How is this going to happen? Well, it's a long story, going back to Richard Nixon, and two southern crackers named Haynesworth and Carswell.

Don't recognize them? They were two racists sons of bitches that Nixon tried to put on the Supreme Court. When the Democratic congress had the sense to throw both of them into the trash can, Nixon just went ahead and appointed an even worse racist, in-the-pockets-of-the-rich jerk, William Rehnquist. On the third try, the Democrats ran out of steam and let Nixon have his way.

From this time dated the era in which Republican presidents did not for a second consider the interests of the country in carrying out one of their most important duties, nominating to the court the most corrupt right wing justices they could ram down people's throats. Thus, we have Scalia and Thomas, Alito and Roberts, tools of the wealthy, sitting on our court.

Criminal right wing Supreme Court justices gave us the disaster of the Bush administration. Now they are about to do something far worse. Using a bogus appeal from a right wing group, they are about to do away with the rule, in existence almost since the beginning of our country, making it illegal for corporations to spend money on political candidates.

It cannot be overstated what a disaster this decision will be. From now on in the United States, every national election will be overwhelmed with corporate money, shouting down any real voice of the people. This ruling, which the five corrupt Republican justices seem determined to make, will be a disaster for the American people, and there is absolutely nothing we can do to prevent it. Thus, the will of the vast majority will once again be frustrated by Republican corruption.

And, by the way, tell me again, which party follows precedent, and which legislates from the bench?

I don't have a clue. This corruption is a worse threat to the country than all the teabaggers in the world, and it is going almost without comment. I suspect that this is because those who see what it means feel so hopeless that even doomsayers like Green Eagle can't face it.
In the meantime they make it incredibly difficult for unions to donate as a playing field leveler.

GE: I know what you mean about my trolls. I consider them pets in need of potty training. And it's fun to stick their noses in piles of their own hypocritical crap.

It seems that predicting what the country will do only requires you to choose the most absurd decision. It works more often than not.
