Here's the right wing global warming scandal of the day:

Green Eagle will stick his neck out here: Anyone want to bet how long it will be before this story turns out to be a total lie?
Update: Well, that didn't take long:
"... the Daily Mail, has taken another body blow with the paper publishing a false story claiming that Phil Jones had admitted that there had been no global warming since 1995."
They're so predictable. Now, I wonder how long it will be before these guys admit that they were wrong, or even until wingnut blogs stop retailing this false story. A word of advice: don't hold your breath.
Update 2: If you needed any further proof that this new claim is a total lie, Bill Kristol was on Fox News today, repeating the same thing.

A lie by your standards or my standards? By your standards, it already is a lie, regardless of how truthful it is.
The ex leader of the CRU and one of the authors of IPCC reports said this past week that at least two cycles of warming just like this one, if not greater warming, have occurred in the past 1000 years.
"How confident are you that warming has taken place and that humans are mainly responsible?"
Jones replied "I’m 100% confident that the climate has warmed. As to the second question, I would go along with IPCC Chapter 9 – there’s evidence that most of the warming since the 1950s is due to human activity."
The Daily Mail - a (tabloid) newspaper with a serial penchant for making shit up - misrepresented what Jones said in the BBC interview.
Perhaps not coincidentally, they have been in a media war with the BBC for some time.
There are plenty who say the Earth might not be warming.

Here is a good study that explains the medieval warm period, a period that was roughly 0.3 degrees C warmer than our modern average.

Some are, true, but there are many who aren't. Even if, I presented a study that points out how we aren't warming on a longer time scale. We can say we are warming if we look at only the past 150 years, but if we are to look at the past 1000 years, we can see that temperatures now aren't extreme at all. Science rules!
