Thanks for the Honesty, St. John
Here at Green Eagle, we always love a chance to send some ridicule toward John McCain, the phony hero who was the best the Republicans could come up with last year. Well, he's running for re-election, and he has this to say in his first ad, about the man who trounced him:
"I stand in his way every day"
Thanks, John, for that patriotic service to our country.
Imagine the attacks which would have been directed toward Al Gore if he had said such a thing about their great president, George W. Bush.
So anyway, here is Green Eagle's suggestion for a good line for McCain's next commercial:
"My Country- I stand in its way every day."
Or maybe:
"I lost to a black man, and I'm not getting over it, so deal with that, suckers."
Or how about, more simply:
"America Last"
I kind of like the ring of that one.

He was reckless in doing so. In fact, according to his autobio, he LOVES to gamble and take big risks--and he did just that when he chose Palin as his vp running mate.
He gambled with our security.
McCain is a pol first--everything else comes in at a distant second with this guy.
