Disaster Averted.

The News Today:

"NEW YORK – Stocks logged their best day in three months as investors rushed into the market on word the economy grew faster than expected during the summer.

The Commerce Department's report that gross domestic product rose at an annual rate of 3.5 percent in the third quarter reinvigorated investors..."

I.e. the recession is over.

Barack Obama and the Democrats made the tough decisions, and brought the economy back from the near-death state created by conservative economic cant.

Think anyone on the other side of the aisle will give Obama one shred of credit for this feat?

Republicans create disasters, and Democrats fix them. That's how it has been since Teddy Roosevelt had the sense to quit the Republican party. The endless catastrophic consequences of their actions seem to never teach them that their joint policies of belligerence abroad and pandering to the rich at home are not such a good idea.

At least, until Republicans manage to wreck things again, we seem to have reponsible people running things.

Regulation isn't conservative. Also, economists back in October of 2008 predicted we'd be out of this recession by . . . mid to late 2009.

No because you'd first have to prove to me that it was his policies that made a positive difference on the recession. Of course, you wouldn't understand anything that isn't pro hoc ergo propter hoc anyway.

Also, what caused the recession?

A. Community reinvestment act
B. Fed's artificially lowering interest rates
C. 1997 Housing act
or D. something you just made up
