Clarence Thomas, Crook
Well, of course, all conservative justices are totally corrupt, but this guy is a crook on a personal level, pure and simple.
Here's the story, from Politico:
Last week, watchdog group Common Cause reported that none of the nearly $690,000 the Heritage Foundation said it had paid Ginni Thomas between 2003 and 2007 had been reported on Justice Thomas’s annual financial disclosure forms."
A "misunderstanding of the filing instructions."
For your information, here is a section of the disclosure form submitted by Justice Thomas in 2009:
"Spouse's Non Investment Income." Not really much to misunderstand, is there? This man is a crook who has, over the years, stolen hundreds of thousands of dollars from the United States government. If he were a Democrat, the press and the Republicans would hound him out of office in a week. But he's not a Democrat, he's a Republican, so he's going to sit there, polluting every Supreme Court decision he participates in, until the day he dies.
Here's the story, from Politico:
"Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has amended 13 years’ worth of disclosure reports to include details of wife Virginia Thomas’s sources of income, documents released on Monday show.
The documents indicate that Thomas’s wife, who goes by Ginni, had worked for Hillsdale College in Michigan, the Heritage Foundation and the Republican leadership in the House of Representatives, among other entities.
Like all federal judges, Thomas must file annual disclosure reports on his personal finances, but he had omitted details of his wife’s earnings in what he wrote was a “misunderstanding of the filing instructions.” He also had checked a box marking no spousal income.

As with everything else, IOKIYAR. It's OK if you are a Republican.
But he doesn't have any decency, of course. That's why the Republicans put him on the Supreme Court.
