Percent

From National Review Online:

"Our Well-Informed Public

Allow me to look at the inverse numbers of the recent Pew poll asking Americans basic facts about the news.

Forty-two (42) percent of Americans do not know that Tim Geithner is the Secretary of the Treasury.

Fourteen (14) percent of Americans do not know that the Democrats control Congress. A year ago, it was 30 percent.

Thirty-three (33) percent of Americans do not know that President Obama is increasing the number of U.S. troops in Afghanistan."

Guys, let me add a few items to your list:

About 70% or Republicans don't believe in global warming, and seem to think the universe is about 6000 years old.

About half of Republicans still claim to believe that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction and close ties to Al Quaeda.

Practically all Republicans believe that torture is a good way to promote freedom.

And about 70% of Republicans seem not to have noticed that George W. Bush was the worst President in the history of our country.

I can go on all day here. So, it's probably not such a good idea for you to play "Who is the Stupidest."
