Maybe they Do Serve a Purpose
From Yahoo today, in an article about cost cutting at the New York Times:
"The paper is cutting pay for nonunionized employees at the Times and other papers and is seeking similar concessions from unionized employees."
"Cutting pay" versus "seeking concessions." Workers, do you see something worth thinking about here? Maybe unions do serve a purpose after all. Who knew?
