A New Height of Lunatic Malice

Oh my God, just when we thought the whole malicious nonsense about Barack Obama's birth certificate has finally receded into oblivion, it has returned to reach a new high of racist lunacy.

Here's an almost unbelievably disingenuous post from the website of something calling itself the Western Journalism Center, which leaves Orly Taitz herself in the dust:

"It’s High Time to investigate Obama

It is high time that legislative bodies and prosecutorial authorities investigate the citizenship status of Barack Hussein Obama II as it relates to his eligibility to the Office of President under Article II Section 1 of the United States Constitution. This includes the determination of his actual identity, which requires genetic analysis. I started my investigation and analysis by deeming nearly every assertion as open to question, including the claimed identity of Mr. Obama’s parents. A certificate that a child was born to Stanley Ann Dunham and Barack Hussein Obama in Honolulu on 4 August 1961 might be true; but, assuming it’s true, it does not necessarily follow that Mr. Obama is that child. Whether he is or not requires genetic analysis."

(Emphasis mine)  Now, not only do we need some sort of magical birth certificate, but Obama must submit to genetic tests to prove that his mother is really his mother.  This is a humiliation that has never been asked of any political figure in history.  But of course it has nothing to do with him being a black man, as you shall see later in the article.

"Hawai’i’s certification of Mr. Obama’s live birth in Hawai’i is intentionally ambiguous. By design, it is impossible to tell from the certification whether the purported parents named therein are Mr. Obama’s birth parents or his adoptive parents."

Who has ever heard of adoptive parents being listed on a birth certificate?  And, of course, no one has ever suggested that Obama was adopted.  But we have to degrade him and force him to undergo tests more commonly administered to rapists and murderers, before right wingers will admit that he is the President.  Or just move on to some other evil crap to deny it.

"Dr. Fukino’s statement refers to Mr. Obama’s “vital records” in the plural. He was not dead, so she must be referring to two birth certificates, the original that named birth parents and an amended certificate naming adoptive parents.

Dr. Fukino is very clever. She has tipped us to an adoption without explicitly disclosing an adoption, which would be unlawful."

Two birth certificates.  Oh yes, she must have been referring to that- something that no one has ever heard of happening, but more palatable to these asses than the notion that they should have to have a black man as President.  Have you ever heard such a total delusion in your life?  What makes it worse is the fact that they know damned well that they are making all of this up, but they will resort to anything to delegitimize a black, Democratic president.  That is all this is really about, and we all know it perfectly well.

"She has also let us know that Mr. Obama’s birth parents were U.S. citizens, which makes baby Obama a natural born U.S. citizen at birth. This leaves open the possibility that he lost American citizenship thereafter."

It also leaves open the possibility that he is from Mars.  And there is equal evidence for both ideas.  And now comes perhaps the ultimate lunacy of this new claim:

"Mr. Obama’s gross misrepresentation that he is black is arguably election fraud. An American black told Laura Ingraham the other day that a black will forgive one many a fault if he’s black. Wonder what they would think if he is, for example, the son of a Caucasian father and a predominantly Polynesian mother, with perhaps Portagee overtones, who just pretends to be black to get votes and denigrate opponents as racists."

So he isn't even black, but some sort of world-wide mongrel,  an assertion for which there is not one shred of evidence, as if evidence matters any more to Republicans.  And his pretending to be black is election fraud, because there is nothing that was more likely to get him elected President of the United States than to pass himself off as black.

"Secondly, the Kenyan birth myth and other false notions about his birth and its constitutional consequences distract attention from his real citizenship problems, his probable loss of U.S. citizenship by forfeiture, disclaimer, renunciation, sedition, or some combination of the foregoing."

So now it's Obama himself that propagated the Kenyan birth lie, to distract attention from something even worse, for which there is not only no evidence, but which they haven't even made up yet.

"This message only scratches the surface"

Of the right's lunacy, racism and hatred.  When is the miserable mainstream press in this country going to stop treating these people like honest, decent citizens who hope for the best for our country?  Haven't they figured out yet that their pandering to them is destroying our country?

You know what the best part is? The president's opponent in 2008, a certain John SIDNEY McCain was genuinely born in Panama.

Yes...McCain was absolutely unqualified Constitutionally to be President, but of course that was irrelevant because he is a Republican.

The Bigotry/Hatred/Naked Racism that Obama is facing is so disturbing.

And it's become so prevelant that most Americans aren't even shocked or replused by it anymore but accept it as a numbing indication of modern political discourse.

Since when is it racist to ask for proof of meeting Constitutional requirments? When did it become bigotry to ask the same question? It seems to me to be a weak attempt to avoid the truth.

You lying, racist dick. No white politician was ever asked to undergo such a humiliating inquisition; No one screamed that John McCain was clearly not a natural born citizen under this rule; and what's more, this whole thing is a total lie, since his real, legal birth certificate was released long before the election. This whole phony issue is nothing but a contemptible attempt on the part of Republicans to convince themselves (successfully, I have to add) that they don't have to admit that the American people put a black Democrat in the white house, and that is racism pure and simple.

If you don't like being called a racist, try not being one.

Since when is it racist to ask someone to stand up on a bus?

When you do so because they are black.

It's not a difficult concept.
