Wingnut Wrapup

Man, they're working hard today.

Diana West, Town Hall: "Arizona fights for our America"

The one without brown people in it.

George Will, Town Hall: "When Indignation Trumps Information"

At last! A conservative sums up the whole right wing in four words!...Alas, no...he's talking about us. Will continues with this truly hilarious line:

"hysteria about domestic fascism is unhelpful, even though it is a liberal tradition."

A liberal tradition. After seeing the behavior of the Republicans and the teabaggers toward Obama, it is a wonder that an actual human being can say such a thing without immediately splitting open and spilling maggots all over his keyboard.

Katie Packer, Town Hall: "More Proof Big Labor's Unionizations Costs Jobs"

Of course, not having unions costs jobs too- 29 in West Virginia a couple of weeks ago, and 11 down there in the Gulf just the other day. Oh wait, that didn't cost the workers their jobs, it cost them their lives. Think 40 isn't a very big number? Well, I know you are going to be surprised to discover that that is 40 more than the number of jobs "proven" to have been lost in Katie Packer's article, which does not document a single job lost due to unionization, but does quote dire predictions of such a phenomenon coming in the very near future, kindly supplied by an "expert" from the corporate funded American Enterprise Institute.

Paul Driessen, Town Hall: "(Desperately) Looking for Arctic warming "

Desperately, but apparently not very thoroughly. I just googled "arctic warming 2010," and here's the very first hit:

David Adam, The Guardian: "Sea ice loss driving Arctic warming cycle, scientists confirm. Study identifies cycle of ice loss and temperature rise that could see Arctic's icy cover disappear sooner than expected"

That took all of thirty seconds. Maybe Mr. Driessen was looking under George Bush's desk, thinking that Arctic warming would likely be hiding with those weapons of mass destruction.

Confederate Yankee: "Possible Fuel-Air Explosive Terrorist Attack In Times Square Goes Awry...I'm going to disagree with the Deputy Commissioner, and suggest there is nothing amatuerish about this bomb."

Well, except for the fact that the would-be bomber used a non-explosive fertilizer, and then forgot to turn on the three propane tanks in the car. Other than that, a real professional. But, Mr. Yankee, if you are really this concerned about finding some excuse to urinate in your underwear, go for it.

Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit: "So a fake Taliban group posted video claiming responsibility for the attack? Figure that one out?"

Tough one for you, huh Jim? Well, how about this: A certain political movement that prominently features fat, middle aged white males like the one photographed running from the scene would rather have someone else blamed for their incompetent attempt to kill a lot of people in liberal New York City. How does that sound to you, Jim? Make sense? Because it sure makes sense to me.

Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit: "Tea Party Patriots Protest Dem Harry Reid At Connecticut Fundraiser"

Here we go again. Here's Jim's picture of the great Tea Party:

Quite something, huh? By way of reference, here are a couple of shots of immigration reform rallies held recently:

Notice the difference there? It's the difference between a popular movement and a bunch of idiotic suckers conned into posing for right wing propaganda pictures.

Allan Caruba, Renew America: "Is the USA too big to fail?"

Not if you guys get your hands on it again. You almost made it happen a couple of years ago. Remember?

J. R. Dieckman, Renew America: "Was the BP oil platform explosion an accident, or...Industrial sabotage is certainly not beyond this Chicago cabal now running Washington D.C., nor its leftist allies running the environmental movement."

Hey, maybe we should consider this. Obama did it. Why, no one has a clue, but he did it. This idiot continues:

"Did it ever occur to Obama that the oil companies already have in place every conceivable measure to prevent accidents from happening? "

Of course, thanks to agreements with Mr. Cheney, they didn't. But let's just ignore that fact.

World Net Daily EXCLUSIVE: "Pope virtually endorses Shroud-Calls burial cloth 'icon' of crucified man 'written in blood'

Glad he's concentrating on the important things.

Astute Bloggers: "BUSH-CHENEY KEPT US SAFE; OBAMA-BIDEN HAVE NOT"

"AFTER 9/11 THERE WASN'T A SINGLE SUCCESSFUL ATTACK HERE IN THE USA BECAUSE BUSH-CHENEY DID WHATEVER THEY HAD TO DO TO KEEP US SAFE. TIMES SQUARE.-PITTSBURGH MARATHON.-FORT HOOD.-THE UNDERWEAR BOMBER."

ALL THESE ATTACK HAVE OCCURRED SINCE OBAMA WAS ELECTED - AND DISMANTLED OUR DEFENSES.

HE SHOULD BE IMPEACHED FOR FAILING TO UPHOLD HIS OATH OF OFFICE ."

Let's see: Three thousand civilian dead under Bush- no civilian dead under Obama. A spectacularly successful terrorist attack under Bush, four failures under Obama. Yeah, that really makes you miss the Bush days.

Dan Riehl, Riehl World View: "Insufferable Ass Clown Says Name-calling Threatens Democracy, Leads To Violence. I can't believe so many young people voted for this lecturing dork"

I'll just leave that one hanging out there. Bye now.
