Lying Hypocrisy that Knows No Bounds
Possibly a new world record in hypocrisy has been achieved today by Dan Riehl of Riehl World View, who has this to say:

Recall that much of the debate around enhanced interrogation during the Bush years often invoked the so called ticking time bomb scenario. Now, the issue may be, did the Obama administration engage in a far more sweeping violation of American law in what may not have been a ticking time bomb scenario at all. The bomb was a dud."
A more sweeping violation of American law than using our army to murder a million innocent civilians, or to torture hundreds of people, the majority of them innocent of any crime, or to hold people in prisons for years without charges or access to legal counsel, or to claim for himself the right to have anyone on earth locked in prison in perpetuity on his word alone.
And you know what Obama's monstrous crime was?
"WCBS-2 TV in New York reported that Army intelligence aircraft had led to the suspect’s arrest. “In the end, it was secret Army intelligence planes that did him in. Armed with his cell phone number, they circled the skies over the New York area, intercepting a call to Emirates Airlines reservations, before scrambling to catch him at John F. Kennedy International Airport"
And it was illegal to use military planes to track this guy down. Of course, if it were Bush and Cheney, it would not be illegal to slaughter his relatives and, if they caught him through some miracle, to beat the hell out of him for a few years, and then if they couldn't find any evidence to convict him, they could just throw him in prison for ever anyway.
But Obama? using a military plane to follow the cell phone calls of a real, actual Muslim terrorist who has actually planted a bomb- that is over the line for him.
There is nothing- nothing- that makes them look like total idiots that they will not unwaveringly claim, if they think it will get them somewhere. They are trying so hard, both with this and with the BP oil spill to find a way to make Obama look like the bad guy, and all they are accomplishing is to make anyone with sense realize what a pack of evil bastards they are.
