Pammy Discovers a Nuclear Plot

Some of you may remember when I stopped reprinting the ugly insanity from Pam Geller, when she decided to turn herself into a race hater that Joseph Goebbels would have been proud of. There just isn't anything amusing about someone who is that ugly. Well, I still look at her site once in a while, when I want to get a feeling for what they would be publishing in the Völkischer Beobachter if it was still in business, and I ran across this wonderful piece of political analysis the other day:

"But the party of haters, infiltrators, anti-capitalists, anti-freedom, anti-individual rights is going to have to pull off something really catastrophic to stay in power this November. And they will, because they despise the premise of America and they mean to replace it with statism, the source of untold, incomprehensible human misery for centuries."

Statism- a new term the wingnuts seem to have invented, which has no meaning except "I hate you, you dirty commie pig." I really wonder what a person filled with this kind of hatred knows about the premise of America.

"Conspiracy theorists who believe that our own government, led by President Bush, perpetrated the First 9/11 attack on America are fruitcake kooks. A part of their brain is unhinged. But if there is a Second 9/11 attack on America this October, and worse than the first, the fully rational response will be to accuse our own government, led by President Zero, of perpetrating it.

The rational response will be to say, This is no accident, comrades."

Rational- the very word that springs to my mind when I read things like this. Of course, we can't blame the saint Bush for anything, but if something bad happens, it is proof that Obama is an evil monster plotting our country's downfall. Isn't it amazing that one conservative after another can portray this thoroughly decent and skilled man as a corrupt, cynical fascist, who has been planning the demise of our country since, apparently, when he forged his birth certificate right after he was born?

"Let's recap. There will be an October Surprise pulled off by the Dems, of that we can be sure. It has to be national in scope, and overwhelming enough to overcome the GOP tsunami. The most obvious candidate to do the job would be a Second 9/11, even a Nuclear 9/11 - which also would have the added advantages of accelerating US economic collapse and providing further rationales for emergency government powers."

Yes, Ms. Geller is asserting that Obama is absolutely likely to attack the United States with a nuclear weapon or two, in order to crush the Republicans. Yes indeed, she is actually asserting that, in effect, Obama is the worst person who ever lived.

"The 2008 Democrat October surprise that ushered in the first hardcore radical post-American president was the "economic collapse." Oh yes, that was a beaut."

And yes, Ms. Geller is asserting that Obama and the Democrats deliberately caused the 2008 economic crisis, because people so loved Bush and Cheney that there was no other way that the Republicans could lose the election. This despite the fact that Bush's popularity was hovering in the low 20's before the collapse. Don't you dare blame it on what Ms. Geller refers to as:

“America’s Persecuted Minority: Big Business”

Boy, that's good for a laugh, huh? America's persecuted minority- the richest people in the country. How do they stand their cruel fate? Well, what's this shreiking harpy's answer to this nefarious Democratic plot?

"...get the Dems to understand that whatever they are planning in October, they will be blamed for it. It will be their fault for allowing it to happen, or for trying to pull off a dirty trick. TeaPartyers and conservatives should, then, begin a campaign right now and carry it through all the way to Election Day. Millions of such messages delivered ever week from now to November 2nd may convince even Rahm Emanuel to abandon the evil he and his fellow Dems are planning. And then, on an Election Day that has seen no October Surprise but a Dem Demolition instead, we can all congratulate ourselves and say to each other, This was no accident, comrades."

Because even if they don't set off a nuclear weapon in Chicago or Houston, see, it is obvious that they are going to try to do it, so it is to the teabaggers' credit if the Democrats carry on their typical weak electoral behavior- Dems would have gladly blown up the country if it weren't for all those letters to Rahm Emmanuel.

Well, there you go. Any criticism of Bush and Cheney was treason, but it's perfectly okay to accuse Obama of planning a nuclear attack on the United States. And lots of these people are ready to buy into things like this, without a second thought. Without a first thought for that matter.

How did we allow these people to remain so crazy? How were they raised? What were their sources of information growing up? Are their kids as crazy as they are? Was it religion? Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh are relatively recent phenomena; who molded these psyches before that? Yikes. So fightening.
