Wingnut Wrapup
THE LIE OF THE CENTURY- and no, I'm not kidding:
Bill Krystol, News: "I think one thing as a Republican and I think Republicans can be proud of is that we don't politicize foreign wars and we support the President if we think he's right and we don't try to make political hay of difficulties that are being encountered overseas."
And the lie of the day:
"GOP Says Boehner's Gaffes Are All Part Of The Plan To Retake House"
Oh Well, on with the other lies:
Caleb How, Red State: "Capt. Pete Hegseth on Elena Kagan. Devastating. There’s nothing to add. "
Devastating, all right. Unless you like the truth once in a while, because this guy doesn't have a clue what the truth is.
In case you care, you can look here where you will find out that this guy's organization, "veterans for freedom," is nothing but a Republican front group, whose "staff and members have extensive ties to George W. Bush, Bill Kristol and Republican Party."
Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit: "Obama Sends Out Goon Squad; Thugs Strong-Arm Louisiana Parish President"
I.e. they tried to convince him to tell the truth- something no Republican would think of on their own.
Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit: "Yee-Hah! Las Cruces Tea Party Holds Their Independence Weekend Rally...Despite the heat hundreds of American patriots turned out today at the Las Cruces Tea Party Event."
And here it is- again, let me remind you that I only bring you the pictures that show the largest number of people at these events, and this was the largest crowd I saw at the Las Cruces tea party. What a pathetic excuse for a popular movement.
In related news:
"A small piece hit CNN’s blog today stating that the National Tea Party Unity convention was moving from its set date of July 15-17 to October 2010...To make the point bluntly their stated reasons for moving the convention are bullshit, and CNN buried the real reason this is happening in the story which was “moving back the date allows other Tea Party groups to attend the convention.” In other words they’re two weeks from their event and they’ve got no attendees and no interest in it.
That’s the story we should be hearing in the media, but you’re not going to hear it. At least not for a little while longer. But the boomlet of the Tea Party is on its way out, it’s just a matter of time before that becomes conventional wisdom."
Actually, the tea party is dead as a doornail, and no, I don't think the mainstream media has any intent of giving up on this lie any time soon.
Astute Bloggers: "OBAMA AND HOLDER SHOULD BE IMPEACHED FOR........"
What now? What now?
Power Line: "Could Obama Be More Unpopular?"
What, than his current 48 or 49%? Yeah, he could be down at 22%, like Bush. Short memory there, huh, fellas?
Charles Krauthammer, National Review Online: "The administration’s denial of “radical Islam” is dangerous, dishonest, and demoralizing."
Or would be if it were true. What are you batting now, Charles, about 0 for 1500?
Andrew C. McCarthy, National Review Online: "John McCain is not a conservative. He is a big-government progressive"
Just thought I'd let you know, in case you thought, for some unknown reason, that McCain was just one more lying Repubican jackass.
American Thinker: "Republicans Must Govern Responsibly"
Fat chance.
Kathryn J. Lopez, National Review Online: "Who Needs a Woman Speaker? If there were zero women in Congress, or on the Court, it wouldn't bother me."
But we do need women who get paid to lie to us. If that stopped, it would bother Kathryn J. Lopez plenty.

Mayor Bloomberg and his backstabbing cronies must have a $tupendou$ rea$on which they can't reveal for wanting a sharia-hugging mosque near Ground Zero!
But the sharia "cobra" they're toying with can quickly grow its fangs and then say "Smile, you're on Candid Scimitar and will soon be buried in a scimitary, ha ha ha!" - proving that one good backstabbing deserves another!
God-haters and America-haters may not realize how high the collective temperature has now risen in the hearts of true American patriots - many of whom are now willing to die for America right here in America if they get pushed completely over the line!
Since the nation's headquarters for treason is the White House, readers can enjoy related material if they Google "Obama Supports Public Depravity" and also Google "Sandra Bernhard, Larry David, Kathy Griffin, Bill Maher, Sarah Silverman" in addition to Googling "Obama...destined to become a black-slavery avenger."
And by all means visit Googleland and type in "Government-Approved Illegals" and "Un-Americans Fight Franklin Graham."
I hope Mayor Bloomberg, dressed as Napoleon, will thoroughly enjoy his mosquerade party!
PS - Interestingly, many conservative evangelicals have lately given up belief in a "pretribulation rapture" (the 180-year-old, fringe-British-invented, escapist-and-thus-subversive theological aberration behind the rapture bestsellers by Lindsey, LaHaye etc.) and now believe they will be on earth, standing against evil, during at least a portion of Antichrist's diabolical reign. Widely read Google articles like "Pretrib Rapture - Hidden Facts," "Pretrib Rapture Secrecy" and "Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty" have helped to bring about this "pretrib" mutiny.
