STEPHANOPOULOS: Well, he's already there, isn't he?

TRUMP: OK, well, he's there in a certain way"

I'm not at all surprised. Trump is the least-read, most unfocused candidate for President we've ever had. He does not know nor care to know outside of his own narrow interests ("What's in it for Trump?"). So of course he wouldn't know what's going on in Ukraine, or the Middle East, or our NATO allies, or China, or Central America, unless it has something that could interfere with his broken business of Trump(tm) branding.

Part of me thinks they shouldn't give him daily intelligence briefings not because he's a security risk (although he is) but because the reports won't register in that twisted head of his. He'll only cherry-pick the stuff he thinks he can use to hurt Hillary or Obama in public and go with that, even if the information really doesn't do what he thinks it does.

Well, maybe that's the reason to give him the briefings- give him the ammo to shoot himself in the foot.

I'm starting to get concerned though that nothing he does- treason, gross stupidity, bullying the weak, open displays of hatred and racism- seems to affect the 40% that seem to be for him. They seem to have entered into some sort of fugue state where they are determined to bring the country down, no matter what. He doesn't have to get too many more people to join in on this madness before we really will be on the road to something like Nazi Germany with nuclear weapons.

Green Eagle: I'm pretty certain that 40% is wanting their End Times, and they're tired of waiting for them. They've bought the guns and ammo, the preppers are stocked to the gills for the apocalypse and it just isn't happening. The religious folk were warning that President Obama was the antichrist. The tin foil brigade has been sounding the alarm for years about Anthrax, Ebola, WaMart, FEMA Camps, smugglers with calves the size of cantaloupes, vaccination, chemtrails, and changing the faces on pieces of paper will cause the downfall of the republic. Yeah, the weather has been a bit off, but there still haven't been any reports of dead animals raining from the skies (all hail the Glow Cloud!). So all these folks hope that by supporting Trump, they'll finally get their rapture on. Unfortunately for them, they haven't listened to pop music to find out there is a Highway to Hell, and only A Stairway To Heaven. Thus traffic conditions may not be in their favor if Trump does start the End Times....
