Wingnut Wrapup
A slightly truncated wingnut Wrapup today, as i want to clear the decks for the maelstrom of abuse that is about to be directed toward Hillary Clinton for daring to even partially tell the truth about Trump. Good times ahead, O Wingnut Wrapup fans.
After pressure from the committee. Okay, I see. And don't think it will end there:
And if that doesn't work, there is that anonymous caller to a right wing radio show that said he knew something bad. Gowdy has been pressuring the Pentagon for months to (somehow) find this guy, who will certainly be the smoking gun that will destroy Hillary.
Without finding a thing. But remember, that still leaves just about six billion witnesses yet to be called, not counting any aliens who are not on earth at the moment. One of them is bound to say something that the lying press can run with, as an alternative to discussing the fact that a would-be dictator is running as the Presidential candidate of one of our two major political parties, and all of the party leaders are jumping right on board with him.
Oh, and let's not forget to point out that Trump said today that he is considering making Trey Gowdy his Attorney General. That way, we could spend the next several years devoting the entire Justice Department to inventing lies about Democrats. That should leave us with a functional democracy come 2020. Probably nothing to worry about though; by November, I expect Trump to pass on Gowdy for this guy:
Yeah, but what about the candidate that's going around doing an imitation of Mussolini?
Her "language has changed." What the hell is that even supposed to prove? What kind of crime is that? But on and on it goes; no real crimes so let's just support imaginary ones. The mainstream press goes for it either way. Meanwhile, Trump lies every time he opens his mouth, but that's just Donald, so it's okay. No one expects Republicans to tell the truth.
We'll just let that remark speak for itself.
Jim, let me try to explain the concept to you, Jim: it's not a smear if it's true.
Nothing to say here, really; I just wanted to include your daily dose of right wing gay hatred. I hope you appreciate the effort.
Oh I don't know, maybe because Trump is running for President, and Bill Clinton isn't? Make sense to you now? Or maybe because 99.9% of all the accusations against Bill and Hillary have turned out to be total right wing lies? Or because a number of the women who accused Bill in the nineties turned out to be paid by right wing propaganda factories to tell their alleged stories? No, it's just that the press is in the tank for Hillary, right?
And let's remember:
To remember. For not forgetting to remember not to forget to remember. For remembering not to forget to remember not to forget to...oh, just forget about it.
So? I can lightly beat my wife too. Not if I want to live to tell about it, but it's a free country.
Thoughtfully illustrated with the following picture, in case you didn't get the idea:
I guess that helps you understand what they mean.
Tens of millions? Let me clue you into a big secret, Bridget, honey: Hundreds of millions of Americans don't give a God damn what it is to be a Libertarian. And they still know that, whatever that is, it doesn't make a bit of difference to anyone in the real world.
"Ganging up" on him, in this case, meaning someone asked him the question a second time when he refused to answer it the first time. In return, Trump "ganged up" on the press by subjecting them to a barrage of smears and insults, in response to which, Mr. Hoft had the following to say:
A hostile defense in the face of questions about Trump's lying, and attempt to steal six million dollars from veterans. That's what Republican voters want. And for once, Mr. Hoft is telling the truth.
Hey, James, if all the doors looked the same, why was the boys' room marked "boys" and the girls' room wasn't marked at all? We only have your very dubious word to suggest that this was an accident. Personally, I think you were a little pervert, and only invented this story when you got caught. It's strange how many of the most bellegerent anti-gay figures turn out to have real sexual problems themselves; until you prove differently, James, I'll just include you on the list with Larry Craig, Denny Hastert and that Duggar scumbag.
Whatever. Let's just remember that "Congress" these days means the Republicans in Congress, since no Democrats have a say in anything. So, if they succeed in turning them from Trump voters into psychotic potheads, really, that's a step in the right direction.
Well, thanks for setting us straight, Ian. Trump is, according to Ian, a stooge of the Rothschilds, which is almost as ludicrous as claiming that he is taking orders directly from King Henry VIII. But then, history was never conservatives' strong suit, was it?
I included this quote so I could mention a tactic which Republicans perfected with the Benghazi hearings. Whenever anything happens overseas, they accuse the administration of "lying" if it doesn't immediately make public every single bit of intelligence we have about the isue; something no sane President would ever do. And if he did fall for their taunts, they would then savage him for spilling our intelligence to the world. It's a no-lose strategy for Republicans, since the only thing that could stop it is for the mainstream press to report the truth, instead of collaborating in their right wing smears, and fat chance of that ever happening.
Indicted for what? They've had a quarter of a century and about a hundred million dollars to find something to indict her for, and nothing has come up yet. The only question left is if they can find a right wing judge corrupt enough to indict her anyway, assuming that they could then make the case hang on until the election. And all things considered, I wouldn't rule that out. No word, by the way, about whether Trump can keep running if people discover that he is nothing but a two bit con man. Oh wait, we did discover that, and it hasn't slowed him down in any way. In the meantime, HILLARY'S E-MAILS!!!!!!!!!
I mean, Bernie, what ever happened to "nobody gives a damn about your e-mails?"
How did you get this article to Town Hall, Ron? Did you e-mail it to them on the government created internet? Did you drive it to them on public roads? Did you send it by FedEx, using public airports? Oh wait, I just destroyed my own argument. It sure didn't help for government to provide neo-Nazi Ron Paul with a means to get his lies out to more people.
Anyone for Trump moves me to tears. This stuff just moves me to laughter.
Boy, that will play great out there among the fifth-grade level readers that make up Trump's base. "Sure, I've never been within a thousand miles of Princeton, and don't even have the intellectual ability to fill out the application form, but I know that Princeton and all the rest of those liberal elitist universities are just giant lie factories who are only in business to make a buck off of the suckers that are dumb enough to pay their tuition."
Bring it on, baby. Remember when the Republicans tried that with the last Democratic President? His approval rate went up to about 79%.
Because they're too stupid? No, according to Rachel, it's because liberals are intolerant. Well, she's right in a way. They're intolerant of having stupid people as professors. And I mean, don't stupid people have a right to be teachers too?
Cortney O'Brien, Town Hall: "Benghazi Committee Finally Questions Drone Pilots the Pentagon Said Were 'Unnecessary' Witnesses"
What was the holdup? In a letter to the committee, the Pentagon expressed confusion as to why Gowdy and the other panelists needed to interview the pilots, since they already had access to video from the Benghazi raid. The interviews were "unnecessary," the Pentagon concluded. "It remains unclear what additional information could be gained from these interviews, especially the pilots,” the Defense Department wrote in the letter. After pressure from the committee, they seem to have changed their mind."
After pressure from the committee. Okay, I see. And don't think it will end there:
"While Gowdy was "glad" the DOD finally came around and honored his request, he noted a separate witness that remains up in the air.
"The Department has still not fulfilled the committee’s months-old request to interview an individual who claimed on his Facebook page that he was a crew chief at an air base in Europe the night of the attacks"
And if that doesn't work, there is that anonymous caller to a right wing radio show that said he knew something bad. Gowdy has been pressuring the Pentagon for months to (somehow) find this guy, who will certainly be the smoking gun that will destroy Hillary.
"The two drone pilots the panel interviewed this week, along with an eyewitness to the Benghazi attacks, brings the committee's number of witnesses to 102. "

She nodded, and I hurried down the hall to the door designated "Boys." When I had relieved myself, I headed back in the direction of my homeroom. As bad luck would have it, the doors in the hallway all looked alike, and I opened the wrong one. Two second-grade girls were standing there with their mouths open in disbelief. Then they both screamed and pointed at me. The loudest one said, "You're in BIG trouble!" The other shouted, "Get out of here!"
