Wingnut Wrapup

Let's just start off with a good laugh:

David Limbaugh, Town Hall:  "Some Trump supporters will be offended by the suggestion that they want to de-emphasize the Constitution or do not hold Trump to ordinary standards of decency"

Some Trump supporters.  David continues:

"In contrast, when Hillary Clinton recently denounced Trump for buying up properties at depressed values, he didn't defensively scramble to offer some irrelevant excuse. He ridiculed the allegation and affirmed capitalism in one fell swoop. In response to Clinton's claim that he bought properties at low prices to sell at higher prices and make profits, he said, "Who the hell doesn't?" Apart from my issues with Trump, that's how you handle leftist bullying."

Who the hell isn't a greedy bastard that doesn't give a damn about exploiting the misery of others in order to make a profit?  Well, at least nobody that calls themselves a Republican.

Pat Buchanan, Town Hall:  "Hillary Rejects 'America First"

Being as how "me first" is what America was built on.  And how did she do that?

"Clinton contends that a Trump presidency would be a national embarrassment, that his ideas are outside the bipartisan mainstream of U.S. foreign policy, and that he is as contemptuous of our democratic allies as he is solicitous of our antidemocratic adversaries."

Attacking Trump is, apparently, attacking America.  I remember another country that Pat Buchanan admires that had the same conflation of leader and country, even requiring  everyone to take an oath of loyalty to the leader, rather than to the country.  I am guessing that it won't be too long before we hear Trump suggesting that we be forced to do that too.

Leon H. Wolf, Red State:  "Some Honest, Friendly Advice for Hillary Clinton:  My advice to you is this: Never be seen in public again between now and election day. Oh, I know you’re going to have to be seen at a few key points – at the DNC, after the California primaries on Tuesday – but those appearances should be as perfunctory and bland as absolutely possible. When they are done, you should go into a bunker...Here’s the thing you must realize by now: this election is a race to see which candidate can make the American people hate them more, and the more the American people see you, the more you help Trump."

Funny that Leon came up with this really well-meant advice just two days after Hillary showed that she could cut Trump into mincemeat in a single speech.  No More Of That, Hillary!  You're only hurting yourself!

"Anyway, just some friendly advice. I’m sure you probably won’t take it, but my conscience is clean."

What conscience?

William J. Watkins, American Thinker:  "The Dark Side of Brown"

I didn't actually read this article.  I suspect it was about the Conservative answer to "A whiter shade of pale."

Charles W. Street, Breitbart:  "Obama’s Jobs Report Worst in 6 Years"

No mention of the fact that it was the 68th straight month of job growth, totalling about 12 million jobs in total.  Remember before Obama took over from the Republicans, when we were losing 800,000 jobs a month?  If you do, you are one fact ahead of Charles, who seems to have forgotten that, conveniently.

Awr Hawkings, Breitbart:  "UCLA Shooting: Another Proof Universal Background Checks Don’t Work"

See, if a gun law doesn't stop every single murder that anyone tries to commit, it is worthless and needs to be repealed.  By the same reasoning, we should repeal all laws against burglary, because these laws are on the books in every State, and people still commit burglaries.  Wait, forget I said that- I don't want to give the libertarians any ideas.

Edward Harsanyi, National Review Online:  "The ‘War On Salt’ Is Bad Policy Based on Bad Science"

The war on salt?  Is that like the War on Christmas?  Damn those liberals, all they ever do is go to war.

And now, another scandal that's going absolutely nowhere:

"Dixie Chicks Sing In Front of Picture of Trump With Devil Horns"

Man, that is really an outrage, right?  A rock band mocks Donald Trump!  It's time to call off the election and just put Trump in the White House right now!

Streiff, Red State:  "Hillary Clinton’s Failing Health Is On Display Yet Again"

Ha ha.  Hillary coughed! And they have a picture of it!  She's dying! She's infected! Run away from her as fast as possible!

Paula Bolyard, PJ Media:  "Utah High School Biology Test Asks Students if Mother Should Have an Abortion...The right answer isn't one of the choices."

The "right answer," according to Paula, of course, is to spout some right wing Christian nonsense.  The actual real right answer would be "You have no damned business asking this question on a biology test, and if you ask it again, I will punch you in the mouth."

Wayne Lusvardi, American Thinker:  "Trump is Correct about the California Drought"

Any lie, no matter how brazen.

Streiff, Red State:  "BOOK CLAIM: Hillary Clinton Is A Violent And Erratic Psychopath"

Streiff isn't saying, he's just reporting what some other vicious, hate-filled liar said.  But really, if she is not a violent and erratic psychopath, who will vote for Trump, who actually comes pretty close to that definition?

Bruce Walker, American Thinker:  "How the Left Is Destroying Science...Why has this happened?  ...treating the Judeo-Christian religious tradition as poppycock means that the vital check on dishonesty that comes from fear of a morally serious God is nonexistent in the minds of many scientists."

Yes ,you see, if scientists don't believe in Jesus, they will have no reason to tell the truth about anything.  It is inconceivable to people like Bruce that anyone would do something, just because it is the right thing to do.  Of course, that is the way all right wing "Christians" feel- if they aren't threatened themselves, they would never behave, so they just assume that everyone else is just as morally bankrupt as they are.  A religion with a vicious, vindictive God only appeals to people who can't be made to act decently any other way.

Jan LaRue, American Thinker:  "Obama Collaborates with Madness"

They're going with Trump, and they talk about madness?  Well, just one more example of blaming the other guy for your faults, to muddy the waters.  Jan continues:

"Obama perverts the "Golden Rule" by omitting that God, not Obama, defines what is good"

God, as determined by people like Jan, who find that God had an opinion on all sorts of things; abortion, the history of the earth, gay marriage, prayer in the schools, and on and on, that God accidentally forgot to say anything about.  Thanks to you, Jan, for helping us out.

Evelyn Dreyfuss, American Thinker:  "Self-flagellating liberals beat the tom-toms for their boxer"

That, of course, would be Muhammad Ali.  Well, at least Evelyn admits that he was our boxer and not hers.  I don't need to go farther here; you can imagine what racist lies she comes up with in this piece. Man, this country is falling apart, or at least half of it.

Joseph Farah, World Net Daily:  "An urgent message 'I never wanted to write'

But of course, he did.  The message (get ready for it-I bet you never expected this:)  Send Joseph money!  He really wishes you would have done this without him having to ask, but you didn't, but it's come to this.  Sad, really.

Phyllis Schlafly, World Net Daily:  "Put Trump's wall in the GOP platform...The promise to build a wall along America’s southern border with Mexico has carried Donald Trump to his remarkable victory in the Republican primaries for president. Now it’s time to put that promise into the official Republican Party Platform."

And I mean, why not?  It's already filled with a whole pack of things to pander to the ignorant, which we know that they have no intention of ever doing, so why not add one more?  Couldn't hurt, really.

World Net Daily:  "'Demonic' opening for tunnel has lesbian sex"

Don't think I'm going to waste your time trying to explain what this was about.

Cortney O'Brien:  "Iran Rejects US Congress’s Request to Inspect Nuclear Facilities as ‘Publicity Stunt’

Because three Republican congressmen are really going to know what they are looking at when they tour a nuclear plant.  Guess what?  It is a publicity stunt.  Sad when we can trust Iran more than Republicans.

Kimberley Ross, Red State:  "Congratulations, Hillary. You Have A Uterus."

Another comment I think I will just let speak for itself.

Leon H. Wolf, Red State:  "RUMORS: Scott Walker Would Accept Nomination if Trump Implodes Before Convention"

Rumors?  Who are you trying to kid? The fucking guy, whose Presidential run imploded almost immediately, would crawl on his knees through Syria to get the nomination. As would dozens of other worthless Republican hacks we could name.

Streiff, Red State:  "BREAKING. Hugh Hewitt Calls For Convention To Reject Trump"

Jeb, are you still awake?  Pull that stake out of your heart- the country may be calling on you yet.

Streiff, Red State:  "Donald Trump Isn’t Against Political Correctness. He Is Political Correctness."

Because it's so politically correct to hate black people and Hispanic people.  Anyone who buys that claim really needs a stay at a Chinese re-eduction camp.

Gina Miller, Renew America:  "Barack Obama (or whatever his name is) continues to stand firmly in demented opposition to the God of all creation."

Whatever.

Kevin Fobbs, Renew America: "Will Hillary's election chances crash if Sanders stages contested convention?"

Keep hoping, buddy.  It's all you've got.  While we're on the subject, do you think the Republicans' election chances will crash if they nominate an ignorant, racist bully with delusions of grandeur?  No, that's just business as usual, I guess.

Newsmax:  "Hailing a First, Clinton Declares Herself Democratic Nominee"

She declared herself the Democratic nominee!  She DECLARED HERSELF!!!  And only because she had enough pledged delegates to win the nomination!  Abominable!  She's a dictator, just like Obummer!

And meanwhile, on the other side of the fence:

Newsmax:  "Donald Trump Plans 'Major Speech' to Spill Dirt on Clintons"

A MAJOR SPEECH!!!  Not to spell out how he plans to solve the country's problems, not to talk about how he is qualified to be President, but to spread lies about his opponent.  Well, that should be helpful.

Newsmax:  "Experts: Clinton Emails Could Have Compromised CIA Names"

They could have.  They COULD HAVE!!!  They could have also compromised the location of the secret facility where Santa manufactures his toys.  What kind of President would do that?

Well, more real soon.  Because there is no way they are going to stop churning this stuff out.
