Report From Green Eagle Institute of Teabag Size Analysis
Green Eagle presents the following entirely scientific calculation of the size of yesterday's Fox News/Michelle Bachman Grand Teabag Tantrum:
Sean Hannity reports that there were 20,000 in attendance.
Now, as you may remember, at the last Washington Teabag Tantrum and 9/11 Political Exploitation Faire, 70,000 attendees were reported by the likes of Hannity to have been 2 million. Thus, the actual attendees amounted to 3.5% of claimed attendees. Using this known fact as a standard, we can now, through a simple feat of multiplication, calculate the actual attendance at yesterday's event, using the formula: H times 0.035 = R; where H represents Hannity's lying claims, and R represents the actual attendance.
We thus arrive at the likely real size of the great National Demonstration against Healthcare: 700.
And Green Eagle is sticking by that number, suckers. So deal with it.
Now, if you happen to have missed this grand event, sponsored by Congressional Republicans, here is a photo of a large banner displayed front and center, where nobody could miss it:
Tasty, huh? Giving people health care is just like Nazi death camps. I have yet to hear a single Congressional Republican, a number of whom attended this rally, speak out against this loathsome banner. Of course, let Obama utter any criticism of Fox News, and the right wing howling commences. These people are not the kind of political opposition that any of us have seen in this country in our lifetimes. and at some point we are going to have to figure out how to deal with them.

This misstatement by you is a callous and morally contemptible misreading of the facts. We do not have universal health coverage as you well know.
You are well aware about how I feel about disingenuous talking-points shouting here.
Semantics semantic semantics. Not universal coverage, Universal HEALTHCARE. Aka everyone has healthcare, not everyone has coverage. Again, why doesn't everyone have coverage? Because everyone has care, making it unnecessary. Don't have insurance, can't afford care, and need care? Go to any public hospital, you will be treated free of charge.
