Ebola! Texas! Panic!

It's certainly time to run around screaming in terror, now that one man in the whole country has died of Ebola!  Never mind the fact that in the last couple of weeks, twice as many black teenagers have been killed by the police in the St. Louis area alone.  That is far less of a problem than one Ebola death on American soil, don't you think?  We'd best reserve all of our howling panic for that.

Yes, one Ebola death, of a person who was exposed to it under circumstances hardly any other American is likely to encounter.

And this year 400,000 Americans will die from the effects of smoking, and 300,000 will die from effects of obesity, but those things are "normal", and there's money being made off them.
