Can there be any more blatant sign of the sickness of our society than this one, reported today by the New York Times?

"Speculators Are Eager to Bet on Madoff Claims

The lawsuits filed by the trustee seeking money for Bernard L. Madoff’s fraud victims may be a blow for the defendants — but they are catnip for an obscure breed of Wall Street traders speculating on the outcome of the enormous Madoff bankruptcy case."

This is what our vital financial sector has become: maggots eating dead rats. People on Wall Street making a living by betting on the outcome of disasters that they create themselves.  And the game is still rigged by the government to make sure that these guys end up the winners in the murderous game they force the rest of us to pay for.
