Saint John Mc Cain- Not So Saintly
This great story from Think Progress (via Atrios:)
Mc Cain Now: "McCAIN: I’ve been around here 20-some years. First time I’ve ever seen a member denied an extra minute or two to finish his remarks. … I just haven’t seen it before myself. And I don’t like it."
McCain then (2002:) "Mr. DAYTON. I ask for unanimous consent that I have 30 seconds more to finish my remarks.
Mr. McCAIN. I object."
Given what we've seen lately, from the likes of St. John and former Democrat you-know-who, I sort of wonder if "moderate, willing to work with the other side" isn't just a euphemism for lying, self-serving dick.
