Wingnut Wrapup- Epic Failure Edition

Respectfully dedicated to Pam Geller, who I usually ignore.  But this was too good to pass up:

"The Epic Failure of the Intel Agencies on the Boston Bombing...I find it very disconcerting that thirty-six hours (as of this writing) after the Boston terrorist bombing, law enforcement and counterterrorism officials are running hotlines and calls for "anyone seen with an unusually heavy, dark bag" in the Boston area.  A $50,000 reward has been offered for clues leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator.  Officials are saying that this case is "wide open."

Yes, THIRTY SIX HOURS after this anonymous crime was committed, and we STILL HAVEN'T LYNCHED ANY MUSLIMS!  What kind of miserable failures are we?

Looking pretty stupid now, huh, Pammy?  I guess it's a miserable failure that it took police four days to catch both bombers.  Because look how much quicker Bush was to catch the mastermind of the 9-11 bombers.
Oh wait...

Of course, this miserable excuse for a human being states:

"In the past twenty years, all bomb attacks have been jihad-related."

Here, in case you care, is a list of dozens of right wing terrorist acts, many of them bombings or planned bombings, which have occurred in the country since the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995, which apparently Pam has forgotten.  The number dwarfs similar attempts by Islamists.  And let's not forget the Atlanta Olympics bombings, another act of terror against a world-publicized athletic event, perpetrated by a right winger.  Of course, neither Pam nor any of her wingnut friends gives a damn about the truth.  All they care about is stoking hatred.

And here is another world champion hater:

Bob Davis, conservative Minneapolis talk show host:

“I have something I want to say to the victims of Newtown, or any other shooting,” Davis said. “Just because a bad thing happened to you doesn’t mean that you get to put a king in charge of my life. I’m sorry that you suffered a tragedy, but you know what? Deal with it, and don’t force me to lose my liberty, which is a greater tragedy than your loss. I’m sick and tired of seeing these victims trotted out, given rides on Air Force One, hauled into the Senate well, and everyone is just afraid — they’re terrified of these victims.  I would stand in front of them and tell them, ‘go to hell”

Go to hell, shooting victims.  Not the shooter, not the right wingers that have worked for decades to enable things like this, not the NRA and the gun manufacturers who don't give a damn what people do with their products as long as they make money.  No, it's the victims that belong in hell.

Doug Giles, Town Hall:  "I Went to Bed a Christian and Woke Up a … Terrorist?"

No, Doug, you went to bed a Christian and woke up an asshole.  But of course, that's not news because you were already an asshole before you went to sleep.  Sad to say, these days, "asshole" and "Christian" are pretty much synonymous.  Maybe it's time for the real Christians out there to reclaim the title to that word.

Michael Ledeen, PJ Media:  " Was Benghazi a Honey Pot Trap?  If a lover convinced Stevens to rush to Benghazi, then it might have been a set-up, what we used to call a honey pot trap."

An eight hundred word post without a single shred of evidence that this could possibly be true.  Nothing but a pathetic attempt to keep a nonexistent scandal on life support, from one of the most nauseating warmongers in the country.   They claim to care so much about the four dead people, and here Michael is, smearing the memory of one of them with a vicious lie.

Becky Graebner, PJ Media:  "the Electric Car Isn’t Ready for the American Driver...The automobile of the future is not ready for the consumer who demands freedom."

FREEDOM!  The electric car probably isn't ready for the consumer who demands freedom, because it doesn't have a 30-round magazine.

Katie Pavlich, Town Hall:  "How To Operate Inside A House With an AR-15"

Vital information for the modern American woman.  Has anyone in the country ever saved themselves by "operating" inside a house with an AR-15, or is Katie just hoping to train a whole bunch of patriots like Shawna Forde, who, you may remember, was a border militia member and proud right winger, who used her weapons to commit a home invasion in which two people, including a nine year old girl, were murdered?

Keep Shawna in mind the next time wingnuts
tell you that their women are so much better looking
that liberal women.

This sort of thinking is so disgusting that it just about makes me want to give up on this country.  There is no way to describe how degraded these people are, and yet Katie is allowed on Fox News and is an "editor" at one of the biggest right wing websites in the country, and she is treated as a legitimate political voice.

Star Parker, Town Hall:  "The Predictable Liberal Assault on Ben Carson"

Ben Carson is nothing but a run of the mill right wing hater, and is only getting Star's attention because he is black.  He attacks gays, Obama, national health care, evolution, liberals, etc.  I have to agree with Star that it is predictable that Liberals would be against him; I hope that never changes.

Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit:  "Good Grief… Former Justice of Peace Arrested for Texas Murders – Not Aryan Brotherhood Members...After all of the liberal media hype about the Aryan Brotherhood’s involvement in the murders – a former Justice of the Peace was arrested for the crimes."

Interesting, that Jim Hoft feels the necessity of coming to the defense of the good name of the Aryan Brotherhood.  How dare anyone suspect them of violence?  Well, I guess Jim knows who is on his side.

World Net Daily:  "George W. Bush: People surprised I can read"

Why?  We saw him read My Pet Goat.  Of course, he could have just memorized it like a parrot.

Rick Moran, American Thinker:  "Gun control at work: 4 dead, 21 wounded in Chicago over the weekend"

Right.  Four people killed and 21 wounded with guns, and it's all the fault of gun control.  Man, someone named this guy Moran for a reason.

James A. Lyons, American Thinker:  "Are We Being Compromised by Barack Obama's Murky Past?  Among all the foreign intelligence agencies, Russian intelligence (SVR) has a long history and has made a science of studying the backgrounds of American presidents.  Therefore, we must assume that...it is possible to the point of certainty that, using all their resources and "black-bag" tactics, they have long had the biographical background data that President Obama and his team of lawyers have been so diligent in concealing from the American public."

Not only have they hallucinated endless phony scandals about Obama's background, but they have now decided "to the point of certainty" that Obama is being blackmailed over these phony scandals, by Russian spies.  Everything makes so much sense when you can just make up the facts to suit yourself.

Bob Owens, Gun Jackass:  "It’s “Loss of Freedom” day in New York today, as the blatantly unconstitutional (on both the state and federal levels) NY SAFE Act demands owners of an estimated one million liberty defense arms are told them must register their arms by today… or else.  Only craven cowards will comply with such a blatantly unconstitutional law, just as New York City residents own an estimated two million unregistered arms within the five boroughs, ignoring the tyrant-protecting Sullivan Act.

Will you comply? Or will you retain your sacred liberty?"

Limits on size of magazines...you know, like people waiting for an invasion, I'm starting to really wish these vicious, idiotic, hate filled traitors would start their war against America already, so we could put them down and get back to living decent lives.  And "liberty defense arms."  Give me a break.  That's the most pathetic specimen of jingoism I've ever heard.

Lord Monckton, World Net Daily:  "Ding, dong, the left are savages "

How lucky we are to have someone who can lay out the wingnuts' case in all its glory.  But wait, Lord Monckton is not alone in his ability to reduce complex political concepts to their essentials:

Burt Prelutzky, World Net Daily:  "Obama: Brick-throwing moron"

Burt exlains:

"After all, he was re-elected after the worst first term any president, including Jimmy Carter, has ever overseen."

Forgot about Herbert Hoover there, didn't you, Burt?  And, oh, what was that other guy's name?  Oh yeah, George W. Bush.  Burt, no lies you can ever think up about Obama are going to change the fact that on practically every front, George W. Bush was the worst President in history.  At least Hoover can share the blame for what happened on his watch with the two previous Republican Presidents, Harding and Coolidge.

Peter Ferrara, American Thinker:  "President Obama's Plan for A Socialist One Party State"

And how is the scoundrel going to accomplish that?

"The last check and balance on President Obama is the Republican majority in the House of Representatives. He has made clear that he intends to remove that check on his power in the 2014 elections."

He's going to try to elect Democrats! The evil bastard! How dare he, the traitor?

James Zumwalt, American Thinker:  "Does Kim Know What Lies Ahead?  This child has a gun, and also thinks he's god almighty."

Man, for a minute there I thought he was talking about Dick Cheney.

David Harsanyi, Human Events:  "Who cares what the majority wants on guns?"

Well, at last- an honest conservative:

"In fact, if Washington internalizes the 60-vote threshold as a matter of routine, voters should be grateful. Considering Washington’s propensity to politicize everything and its increasingly centralized power (what your health care looks like is now up for national referendums, for instance), this might be the only way left to diffuse democracy."

And that's what the United States has always been about- "diffusing" democracy.  Well, that's sure the goal of Republicans, but who would think they would admit it in public?

Mike McNally, PJ Media:  "A Stirring Send-Off For the Iron Lady – And No One Missed the Obamas...An unmistakably British send-off for a giant of her age."

Yeah, particularly in Edinborough- a photo of the video broadcast of the Thatcher funeral is shown here:

A stirring outpouring of love, indeed.

Well, only if you use the term "good" in a sort of loose fashion.

Pretty excited that the kid-hunt in Boston resulted in a live perp. I hope he's the subject of lots of scientific experiments to determine what makes a kid brother obey his elder bro. Is it a Russian thing? Very very relieved for the folks of Beantown. Wonderful coordinated effort by taxpayer supported govt employees.

GE, thanks for the link to SPLC. They do some great work and I'm sending them a donation. Haven't given to them in awhile. Thanks for the reminder.

Great post you put together here.

I'm wondering how many innocent bystanders would have been shot if this bombing had occured in one of the gun friendlier enclaves of our nation rather than in Boston. Glenn Reynolds and Bob Owens woulda been shooting at anything that moved around their places.

GE: "Maybe it's time for the real Christians out there to reclaim the title to that word."

Agreed, but I think they have a challenge when it comes to exciting interest and attention from the allegedly liberal media. For example, my wife, an elder in her church, has devoted her life to faith-based environmental activism, and she could list program after program in that sphere. But where are the news stories? And how many stories about Bill McKibben, who has worked tirelessly on climate change issues, have noted that he is a devout Methodist? (A Sunday School teacher, the last I knew.)
