Curt Schilling Hits It Out of the Park
Oops! the ball hit the scoreboard and bounced right back in his face.
Famous ex-baseball pitcher and long time white supremacist and Jew hater Curt Schilling, and (of course) big Donald Trump supporter had a rally in the city of Boston (where he played baseball) this weekend, and the army of Trump supporters turned out en masse to show their readiness to take any action necessary to see to it that Hillary does not get anywhere near the White House:
Sorry! Not quite the attendance Curt was expecting. In fact, when you subtract the press, it turns out that he attracted a grand total of 12 people. Yup, 12.
Long time readers of my blog will know that I have a long history of reporting on these disastrous rallies by right wingers. The normal pattern is for the press to abet them in promoting their marches, and then totally ignore the actual result, furthering the notion that there really is a major militant movement on the right in this country. Here's one more of them, and it is a lesson to anyone that thinks that, when Trump presumably loses the election, his people are going to grab their guns, rise up and start shooting to "take their country back." It's one thing to answer a poll in favor of Trump, or even go to one of hiscircuses rallies, in hopes of a cheap thrill, but quite another thing to expect any real action from them. They are mostly nothing but pathetic saps with big mouths, who have been drained of any hope of a decent life by the very sort of people that Trump perfectly personifies, and are too lazy to try to figure out what really happened to them, thereby making themselves endless victims. Well, here they are- all 12 of them in Boston, anyway.
See you at the revolution, in two weeks, guys.
